Still waiting to hear from WW about the new Evil Dead movie...
It’s great! I don’t really want to spoil anything but it has every thing you would want in an evil dead movie. You don’t need to see any of the previous movies to enjoy this one but if you love the originals, go see Rise.
I saw a headline saying it’s best evil dead movie yet, it’s not lol
Id still rank the original trilogy above this one but Rise is still a fun time.
So it still retains some of the humor from the original? I didn't see any humor on display in the commercials.

No, it’s actually played pretty serious but it keep all the over the top gore and blood that you’d expect in an evil dead movie.

OK, that’s too bad. That’s what made me fall in love with Bruce Campbell. Especially as a guy that’s not a real horror fan.
Succession is so freaking good. Love every episode and look forward to it each week as Sunday approaches. My theory on the ending of the show, based on no spoilers just my own speculation:
I don't think any of them are going to end up running the company. I think the company is going to collapse and go under. The combined weight of all their stupidity and bad decisions are going to bring the company down. The spreading of dirt about Logan Roy, the possible revelations about the company leadership (that Kendall killed the waiter, Roman's dick pics, that Mattsen sent the creepy blood to his love interest, etc.) will tank the company's value. They'll end up bankrupt and selling off the company's assets to some conglomerate in Saudi Arabia or China or something.

I'm gonna be bingeing this with the wife once the season wraps up... Such an amazing show.
One episode left, said to be around 90 minutes long. I don't know how they stick the landing with so much left but I don't think it'll be wrapped up so tight that they won't look for a movie or a re-visit down the line.
Seems like Kendall was lining things up with Hugo and Colin, ready to get dirty and maybe finally had that killer look, but then couldn't nail down Mencken after the funeral. Roman's breakdown takes him out completely and it feels like Shiv is getting played by Mattson (which has been a theme for her).
There's also the whole election that's still in question, so are they foolishly lining up with Mencken just to get burned if Jimenez ends up coming out on top? But is there enough time left in that world to get the election straightened out since getting to the bottom of everything with the results will take months? Will they skip ahead time-wise to confirm who the President will be, which could affect the GoJo deal?
Is there a chance they all get cut out/bought out and just live (un)happily ever after? Or, even if Kendall gets the top job, will he keep Roman and Shiv around or cut them and everyone else (Gerri, Karl, Frank) out and just be a ruthless CEO like his father? No idea about Greg and Tom.
Edit: A few online theories think it could be Greg...he could be a darkhorse. He's been linked to everyone one way or another, even Mattson who may like him as the American CEO. Kind of harmless, but close enough to everyone and not someone any of them would see coming?
It's been a good show, entertaining but also a little loose and disjointed with some storylines that seem to come and go from episode to episode.
