Anybody else think it was weird that Dina said she's pregnant and then her and Ellie immediately went at it? And that Issac character is pretty terrifying. Very uncomfortable scene with the naked guy chained to the wall.
"There are 3 rules I live by: never get less than 12 hours sleep, never play cards with a guy with the same first name as a city & never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Everything else is cream cheese."

I have to watch episode 5 still, but this season just immediately went down the toilet after episode two so far. It became a forced love story between these two. So they narrowly escape death by zombies and humans and one of them gets bit and then they just start banging?? That's the angle?? Then there's a comedy about morning breath let's eat beef jerky so we can kiss? Give me a break. Why are we being force fed this shit? Ok, they fall in love. I get it. I'm not tuning into this show for a romance; there are much better shows for that if that's what is desired

Agree. Thankfully, E5 was better.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Cool. My son was in town and I haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

Mannnnn, super bummed that Joel / Pedro Pascal is gone. He was the highlight of the show. I could really take or leave the girl who plays Ellie. I know this is the way the story goes in the game and there's no way around it. But I can't help but feel like the show isn't very good if this girl is going to be the main character. She's bratty and annoying and has this completely unrealistic recklessness that nobody in this situation would have.
And while I kind of like the other girl Dina, I don't really need two teen girls bopping around taking on hordes of zombies AND fully military armed humans and somehow always winning; it is pretty ridiculous. They travel all the way to Seattle just to try to get vengeance on one girl, across hundreds of miles of territory that might be full of infected or evil humans? Wear brightly colored striped shirts? With a week's worth of beef jerky to feed them? GTFOH.
I also don't really get it with these zombies. They're connected by a vast network of plants that can "sense" for them, like the Borg or something, right? So shouldn't our characters be completely fucked, unable to hide anywhere? Why can Ellie travel hundreds of miles without encountering a single infected? How is she ever able to get away when a horde of infected chases after her, wouldn't they easily be able to track where she goes?
Oh well. At least we have Jeffrey Wright (Isaac), who is a gem. Maybe he can save the show for me.

Pretty intense. This kind of action will keep me coming back. Started part 2 of the game but didn't get far so I have no idea of what is coming. The show sure does a great job of recreating scenes from the games though. Ellie is a psycho too just like the girl who killed Joel.
