This is likely Beal’s last “fuck you” to the franchise on his way out. Hell, it wouldn’t surprise me if he was insisting on getting a NTC for his new contract.

We can't even give this guy money to just go away. Suns need to tell him to sht or get off the pot and stop holding things up.
Deep breaths, Shel. :D :P

He probably wants to know how much he is going to make from the new team, and will only give back that much money to the Suns.

So hopefully he chooses a vet min so we can’t stretch the contract!

Getting this done today or tomorrow or next week doesn’t really matter at this point. We lost our opportunity to use the extra flexibility when it didn’t happen right out of the gate in free agency.

What about Allen & Richards for Kuminga? It would allow Golden State to re-sign Kuminga at about $22 million for the first year to make a sign & trade deal work.
Well if we waive and stretch Beal at the assumed amount(he gives up 14m), then we don’t even have to include Richards. We can take back more salary at that point, up to the 1st apron. So we’d have about 6ish million we could add onto Grayson.
We would still be above the cap, though, so we could only take back 125%.
It’s 100% + 8ish million now
Wait, wouldn’t we still be in luxury tax territory, making it 125% still?

Luxury tax, yes…but the 1st apron is about 8 million above the luxury tax line and that’s where it changes I believe…which we’d be hard capped at the 1st apron anyways if we acquire someone via S&T

The Bulls are holding firm on not offering Josh Giddey $30 million annually in contract negotiations, per @KCJHoop.

$30M to Giddey is the way
He's asking for 30? But I heard Giddey prefers it under 18! Heyooooo

OK, @JeremyG, can we call it now for Gambo being wrong on this one?

Yes, he was wrong.

I don’t know how much longer the fanbase can handle this dragging on lol.

Seems like they were saying that the buyout is agreed upon, they are just waiting until Beal has reached a tentative agreement with his new team before they announce it.

If we somehow someway add Josh Giddy to this group, I would love it. Could we have $30 Mil in cap room after the Beal buy out for next summer? I think a sign and trade will be available as well if we get below the 2nd apron. Richards, O'Neale and Allen for Giddy. Just do it.
What was the reason to get rid of Monty again? Oh yeah, that guy we drafted rather than Doncic.

Wonder if they go Allen for Jonathan Isaac, seems to fill a spot for both teams.

I don't know if the Magic have a need for a guy like Allen now with Bane in the mix?

Man, after all of the Achilles injuries last year I'd be scared not to have some decent insurance policy.

I like the idea of Johnathan Isaac, but I'm not sure I would like the reality. Injuries aside, Allen has been a starter or 6th man for the last 5 years while Isaac was the 4th forward on the depth chart. I'd want some picks to make that swap.

It made much more sense with last year's roster.
Precious Achiuwa, Dalano Banton, Batum, Chris Boucher, Amir Coffey, Tre Jones, Laravia, Mamukelashvili, Tre Mann, De'Anthony Melton, Minott, Nance, Chris Paul, GP2, T. Prince, Reed, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Tate, Watford, Yabusele
