Let's go!

That's why Booker yelled at Dunn at the end to dunk it when time was running out and he was standing under the basket by himself and was planning on holding it until time expired.

I just watched the Friday's Top 10 Plays video on nba.com expecting to see Williams' toss up off the glass shot attempt and miss, rebound and slam. I watched the whole thing thinking it would be in there somewhere and finally thought it would end up #1. Nothing, nada. WTF?!?!

Ugly game but kind of expected as an XMas hangover. Book had it going which was nice to see. He likes playing in NOLA. Mark Williams ate and none of the Pels could do anything to stop him. The lob to himself wasn't something I've seen a big like him do before. He's a lot more skilled and aware in the paint than he probably gets credit for.

The Pels played tough, the refs sucked and made some weird calls - especially the tech on Book. Didn't think anyone else had much juice and we luckily avoided some major injuries to Dunn and CG.

I will say, while I love what he's brought to the team, the Brooks stuff is starting to get annoying. There's no reason to try and bat a ball away on a dead play while the other guy is throwing it to a ref. He gets a tech for that and it flips the game around. I'm fine if there's some physical play during the game and things get a bit heated, but it feels like he's constantly looking for a fight or argument. I wonder if it does come to a head at some point and Ott or someone else needs to rein him in.

Hopefully nothing nearly as bad as what Kerr deals with in Green.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

You guys are dorks.

You want an edge or not? He plays with an edge. Plain and simple. All game, every game. I absolutely love what he's brought. I'll take all the antics because they're not antics- he steps on the court and his goal is simple to play as hard as he can and to get into the opponents head at all costs. I'll take it.

He gives his teammates confidence out there. They know they have the bully on their side. I love it

Let's go back to having Yuta. Metu. Grayson. Royce and the band of zero edge betas on the court.

Yup... Sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet. Brooks and how we're playing all feels like the beginning of something great. May not take out OKC, but it'll be something we're proud to cheer for.

You have to have a "no-nonsense" player who gives you some toughness, whether that's Jae Crowder, Maurice Lucas, Ricky Sobers, Charles Barkley, whomever, players need to know their teammates have their back if something gets started out there. Brooks does go overboard with the stupid shit sometimes, but he's alo the guy who sets that tone.

Nah it's not being chippy and playing with an edge that maybe gets heated every once in a while. That's how he used to be. It's crossing over into antics every game lately. He used to do it strategically, now it's like it's become his brand and persona.

And he gets called for it accordingly.

Okay. Idk if it's this fan base or just this board but it phoenix fans are some of the most cornball fans in sports. You guys just want players that you would be proud to have married your daughter. Prolly demand a trade of a player you find out doesn't recycle

Also Twitter is all up in arms about how the last score from Dunn was Devin trying to get another assist and getting parleys.

It’s clearly because of what Zion did a few years back haha.

I love that NBA players get so bent out of shape if you try to score one more basket at the end of a decided game. It's such a small thing, but they get EXTREMELY mad about it, like you just made out with their mama or something. It's just one basket but somehow it's an egregious violation of NBA "code of honor."
