It’s a sensitive topic for me, because here in the UK we have an increasingly authoritarian left wing government, the most unpopular of all time, with the least popular prime minister of all time, and he’s spent the last week trying to get Canada and Australia to all agree to ban X because he is getting absolutely pounded on there, post after post after post, because of his policies that no one likes.

On the back of one relatively minuscule issue where other AI can do the exact same thing anyway (just with more safeguards that grok is now introducing, as mentioned).

In other words, it’s the one platform that’s holding the PM to account (where he has been community noted 20 times or so).

Canada said no though, and that was that, but that’s exactly why x is so important.

Apologies for the political rant, but hopefully a little less inflammatory as it’s from a UK perspective (where things are getting a little too real over here regarding big brother / censorship - literally 12,000 people were arrested in the last year just for saying things on line, for goodness sake …)

Since my post triggered all that, the reason dor me using x is simple. Nobody uses bsky here in Brazil, even when the supreme court illegally banned X for more than a month because they refused to secretly take down profiles.

Grok is not the only AI capable of doing fake porn, and I hope this is corrected soon.
Yeah it’s a niche site, where x is mass market; “the world’s town square” is an awesome to way to pitch it.

And just to add that I’m just so thankful for the American constitution’s adherence to freedom of speech right now (meaning my avatar that you can see on here is absolutely ridiculous - my gosh I was a misguided soul back in the day!)

Guys there's a reasonable excuse to why Aytons sucking so bad... I guarantee if we all look closely in the stands of each game you'll see this face in the stands....

It will be with this exact expression and pose... Hell I wouldn't be surprised if this pic was taken in the midst of an Ayton clown show.

Wouldn’t it be hilarious if the lakers and dallas traded DA for AD, in some package that worked? Both are a total gamble for the other team lol

They make a great point. He's the exact same player that came into the league as a rookie. He hasn't improved any aspect of his playing. He's content to collect a check.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Ayton and Clay... both things are super fragile and afraid of hard contact.

Yup, it's what we've all have been saying. Such a disappointment... The guy could have been HOF if he put in some freaking effort into it and gave half of a shit.
