They (Luka and Lebron) need to make plays for him.
Pfft, his pure existence on the court makes the game easier for everyone else.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I hope one day we are so good that we just don’t even care about the day to day of Ayton.

He's one of, if not the biggest bust in team history, we'll never stop hearing about him.

I don't think we do. We just relish in it.

Relishing in it means you care to me haha.

And it’s just funny that we still get daily updates on his numbers. We don’t do that with anyone else and have never done it with anyone that I can remember. I understand why it happens(and have partaken in it at times), just saying I look forward to the day when we move on.

Until the Sun(s) burns out... it will never happen. Sometimes it's just cathartic to come here and let loose. He was the first time we had the #1 pick and he completely shit the bed with all of his grandiose talk, not to mention a particular person who was here that would constantly defend his bs only for time to prove US all right.

You know, you're more than welcome to move on without the rest of us and ignore it, right?

Agreed. If the Suns had multiple #1's like the Spurs, Mavs, Magic, etc it probably wouldn't be such a big deal. But the one and only time we hit the jackpot and had a chance to get the true center that the Suns always lacked and... Well you know the rest. And when you look back at that draft and see what else we had the chance to get and passed on makes it even worse.

I guess my point was more that you wouldn’t need the catharsis from letting loose because we’d be winning 60+ games again and the actual team would be cathartic.

I have moved on from Ayton and I’m so happy I don’t care at all how he plays. Not with how much I’m enjoying this current team and how they play. Just a bit interesting to me that so many on here want to continue to dump on him even with Jeremy long gone. But everyone feel free to carry on if you want…it doesn’t bother me and I don’t make the rules anyways…just curious to me.

I don't stat watch or actively look for Ayton posts but I do like the sense of validation we're getting now. For years, some fans of his and other teams swore it was the Suns or their players not knowing to use him or trying to sabotage him and make him look bad. Blazers fans took their shots while in the honeymoon phase, Lakers did the same a few months ago. But his play always speaks for itself.

On top of that, he talks a big game but doesn't back it up. If he shut up about the Dominayton stuff or not wanting touches and just playing defense (only to later complain about touches), he'd largely be ignored.

I hope we play them in the first round…. Just want mark williams to make Ayton eat his lunch. The two bigs couldn’t be more different… one avoids contact like it’s the cooties, the other a pure force. Would be awesome if Ott unleashed Williams post game in that series lol

Nurkic unleashed! Hmm, who are the other 3 centers who have had three straight triple-doubles? Jokic seems like a lock. The other 2? Hakeem? Bill Russell? Wilt? Embiid? Duncan?
