Is it just me or does Marty's Bluesky tweets now show up as big blank areas? I'm using Safari btw on my Mac. This has been happening for at least a week for me. I used to see them. @Mori Chu

Safari on iOS is fine as well as windows. Sorry, haven’t noticed it.

Weird, OK. I might need to do a cache refresh. Thanks.Kryptonic wrote: ↑Sat Jan 31, 2026 12:27 pmSafari on iOS is fine as well as windows. Sorry, haven’t noticed it.

This happens to me when I'm using my router as access point and depending on what DNS server I use. Try to reset the modem/router and thta could do the trick.
Re: NBA News: Week 14 (1/19 - 1/25)
I've been doing that a lot lately for other reasons. Weird that it just started happening a week or so ago. Well, I just confirmed it works on my iOS phone for both Chrome and Safari. Cleared my cache for the website and that didn't help. Time to ask ChatGPT.Furlanfufi wrote: ↑Sat Jan 31, 2026 12:40 pmThis happens to me when I'm using my router as access point and depending on what DNS server I use. Do you have any ad blockers installed on your browser? If the ad blocker got updated recently it might have reset or tightened your settings.Superbone wrote: ↑Sat Jan 31, 2026 12:50 pmI've been doing that a lot lately for other reasons. Thanks for that. I tracked it down to the safari extension, AdGuard for Safari. Unfortunately, when I disable "Protection" for this site, it still blocks bluesky posts. The only way to fix it is to turn off AdGuard for Safari globally which defeats the purpose of the extension. ChatGPT says it's annoying but I could turn it on and off when I use this particular site. I don't think so! Anybody have a better ad blocker suggestion? BTW, I have the free version called adguard mini.JJ Slim wrote: ↑Sat Jan 31, 2026 12:56 pmDo you have any ad blockers installed on your browser? ETA: I just switched to 1Blocker and now I'm seeing them again. Yay! Thanks all for the help.

I haven't heard of 1Blocker, but I think I have used this site with both AdBlock and uBlock Origin and that I've still seen the embedded posts from Twitter and Bluesky on both. I think some of the other blockers block "social media content" such as Facebook "like" buttons and other stuff, which might be why 1Blocker is blocking the embeds.
Re: NBA News: Week 14 (1/19 - 1/25)
I've used AdBlock and uBlock Origin in the past but I think they have fallen out of favor. I hadn't heard of 1Blocker either but it appears to be one of the best free ones available now. And you are confused as it fixed the issue. AdGuard had the issue.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Sat Jan 31, 2026 6:40 pmI haven't heard of 1Blocker, but I think I have used this site with both AdBlock and uBlock Origin and that I've still seen the embedded posts from Twitter and Bluesky on both. Huh, interesting; I hadn't heard that. I just did ~ 5 minutes of Googling on this. I did hear talk of AdGuard, but I saw several sites saying that uBlock Origin was still great (though less supported in Chrome?) and also others still recommending AdBlock Plus. Not sure. Either way, I bet most of them can be configured to selectively allow certain kinds of content, but it can be tough to figure out. I just have AdBlock Plus on my Chrome browser, but it doesn't stop everything (specifically I think some YouTube ads get through).

It looks like it would be 10-11 games. Players lose 1/145th if their salary, which is about $145,000 for Brooks. Assuming we make the playoffs, we are just over 1.5 million into the tax.
Re: NBA News: Week 14 (1/19 - 1/25)
Yeah, I used to use Chrome but it seemed resource intensive so I switched back to the native Safari. Pretty sure Chrome is why I went away from UBlock. Anyway, 1Blocker seems to be working well for now. And AdGuard Mini was the free version of AdGuard and it did not make it easy to fix the issue. And they must have added the issue as it worked for a long time until a week or so ago.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Sun Feb 01, 2026 8:26 amHuh, interesting; I hadn't heard that.
