Just a brutal offensive showing tonight.

Can’t win when you shoot that poorly, especially when you get badly out rebounded as well.

Every time we play the Clippers I wonder how good the Suns would be if Zubac was the C instead all the trash we've trotted out over the years.

Would love to trade Royce for a rotation PF.

Suns got absolutely manhandled on the boards: Clippers out-rebounded Phoenix 63-35. Zubac had 20 caroms.
A fun team to watch again. A trade or two away from being a serious contender...

I know the NBA doesn’t work like this. But I would’ve loved to see Khaman in this one. Even in a losing effort I feel like he could’ve learned a lot.
We always struggle against size it seems. Some nights we overcome it with great shooting and hustle, tonight wasn’t one of those nights.

The team was 19-46 from 3 (41%, pretty decent) but only 31-93 overall (pretty bad!), which means they somehow managed to go 12 for 47 on 2-point shot attempts tonight, barely over 25%. Overall they missed 62 shots from the floor, which is part of how you end up with the cartoonish number of rebounds that the Clips ended up with for the night.
Somebody with the ability to hit a midrange shot might have been helpful tonight.

Tough game, we just didn't have it offensively. Thought we played hard enough and mostly well enough defensively but we couldn't hit anything inside the 3pt line. We were able to hang, stayed close and tried to make a few runs but could never get closer than maybe 7-10 points. Every time we needed a big shot, we missed. Collins and Zu were too big, Kawhi took over for a stretch in the 3rd and they dominated the boards. Clips also shot 16 more FTs. Suck to lose this one with the standings so tight. Given our recent stretch and how hard/well we've been playing, this game was probably coming. We were due for a come-down game. Hate the Clips, we can beat them if we make shots (duh) but I'd also like to feel better matching up with their frontline.

I'm not going to read too much into this one. The guys just didn't have it, and that happens sometimes.

Yeah, but why did they have to do it when I was there?! I'm taking it personally.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.
