Game Day: Pelicans (20-44) @ Suns (35-27), Fri 3/6/26

Dunn has missed his last 10 free throws.

Hi folks. A few quick questions:
Box score watching it seemed fleming outplayed Dunn. Is that accurate?
How did maluach look out there? From the highlights there didn’t seem to be a huge degree of trust in him yet as he was open multiple times on the roll and didn’t get the ball. Then again people kept saying Williams didn’t the ball enough.
Was Huntley on the bench? Noticed he wasn’t at the g league game today.
I swear multiple places were saying Royce was injured for several weeks. Was there even a story there ?

Maluach looked okay. His offense will take time, he still needs to learn how to catch the ball and protect it better. But his defense was generally pretty good.

Yes, Fleming has been better than Dunn lately.Danimal wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2026 5:16 amHi folks. A few quick questions:

Taking load management to another level

Jalen Green, 25 points on 8-17 shooting. Not bad! He's back, baby!
Lot of guys made nice contributions in this one. Book carried us with 32. Oso was great in the first half and ended up with 13 and 6. Fleming and Maluach both showed us a few more glimpses. ManMan is a real give-and-take player; he will do something great on one play, then he'll make a bone-headed turnover on the next play. But giving him more reps will help. I really like Fleming's progression, he isn't just jumping off the page with his stats but he seems like a solid player on both ends of the floor and doesn't hurt us much, plays good defense, can hit one or two open shots. Basically stealing Dunn's role a lot of nights.
We still had a big problem with letting the Pels get easy shots. Seemed like they got to the paint a lot, especially Zion. They also got more open 3s than I would have liked. But I'll take the W.

Fleming is just dripping in potential. If he's got the right work ethic and coaching, we're talking star potential. He just looks and plays the part. He deserves 20 mpg.
Man man had highs and lows. He needs time it's unfair to judge him on his first real minutes.

Brooks, Goodwin and Williams are three of the teams' better defenders. Their absence will be hard to overcome.
At least Goodwin could be ready soon ...

A fun team to watch again. A trade or two away from being a serious contender...

I immediately thought this was a "Saucey" post and maybe an exaggeration lol but that's rough
Thing is I think his corners 3s has really improved. Mechanics looks smooth and he seems to knock those down but straight on and on the wing the longer 3s maybe not.
That's where Fleming is probably passing him right now because he is hitting from the wing also and showing a knack for getting to the basket

Fleming is passing him because he has NBA level skill and Ryan Bunnz does not.bajanguy008 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2026 6:15 pmI immediately thought this was a "Saucey" post and maybe an exaggeration lol but that's rough
