Dusty May sounds like the name of a '70s porn actress.

I made a lighthearted joke about Gambo's wife and the age difference once on X, super G rated, and that alpha blowhard blocked me.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Takes a potential Mark Williams landing spot off the table.

Dumping Randle in his prime is pretty crazy.
He's not a bum despite what the reactionary media/Internet will have you believe most of the time.

Re: 2026 Offseason
Maybe Minnesota would like good old dependable Royce O'Neale for part of that TPE.

I doubt all that stuff from Miami ends up staying in Milwaukee, but that doesn't mean they won't find good value for pieces by the time the deal is finalized.

The Heat lineup could use some shooting...
O'Neale for Portis???

Re: 2026 Offseason
Really didn't have Minnesota moving down in the draft just to salary dump Randle, who's still a very useful player. I know the Wolves want to resign some other guys and regain some flexibility, but that seems like a nothing for something trade to me.
Not surprised about the Giannis move. It had to happen, it was going to happen. Bucks did about as well as they could, given that they had to make a trade and the potential partners were limited. Miami could be scary defensively with Bam and Giannis, but the health issues and the offensive fit remain to be seen, I guess. I wouldn't list them as a real contender, yet.

Haha so focused on removing O'Neale. In a way I get it but he is not a problem in any way so dumping him would not be a priority for me. I am totally open to trading him but a straight dump for a couple of seconds is too little of a benefit for us. I mean, he makes just 10M, is a sniper, good vet, etc. and as is we even can use the full MLE. Even on the development side of things, word is already out that Fleming will get a lot of playing time or even the starting role so literally O'Neale is not blocking anything for us.

That would be a steal for us. They can have their old friend Highsmith even. And Bouyea too.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2026 9:14 pmThe Heat lineup could use some shooting...

Re: 2026 Offseason
The flexibility they gain is inmense on so many levels. They LOVE Ayo (rightfully so) and this allows them to pay him (supposedly has agreed to a 5 year 112M deal). Also makes room for their folk hero Naz Reid to further develop into a starter. And I guess also opens some playing time for Beringer. Huge trade exception too. And ability to use the MLE. If you value all that flexibility (at the price of removing Randle of course), going down from 28 to 33 is a very small hit.
