Ooh. That's a good trade. Doesn't move the needle, but I like Leuer.ShelC wrote:We're getting Leuer from the Grizzlies for the 44th.
Re: NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2015
It wouldn't be the Suns if they didn't draft another point guard.

Hmmmm. Any interest? I wonder if a change of scenery would do better for Hibs. I believe he is a FA next year as well. Bledsoe and the Morrii?

Ah, never mind.

We could have had Dakari. Or Brandon. We traded the damn pick.

So, sell me on Jon Leuer.
Re: NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2015
Jon Leur, team option for $1M this year. Doesn't really do anything exceptionally well. I guess he's tall.

Jon Leur murdered us every time we played him. We acquired him because we couldn't stop him

I think we needed a rotation big a lot more than another marginal prospect.Cap wrote:We could have had Dakari. Or Brandon. We traded the damn pick.
Re: NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2015
Yeah, you know what else really works well? Sinking a third of your salary into a player like Bledsoe instead of giving minutes to a player who has a chance to develop into something more on the cheap. That's really shown a lot of success, has it not? Really tearing up the league right now, ain't we? Those post-season wins just keep racking up! Brilliant plan there! Whatever the Suns do, I hope they never spend money on post-players, I'm sure we'd never achieve the miraculous success signing WAY too many point guards has. Genius strategy, really, really worked out well...Robot wrote:Jimmer could be cool. I'd also like to try and nab Adam Morrison. He was a great scorer in college and hasn't had a chance to develop yet. I think we could get him open shots here .

Well, it's another season of disappointment carey...
Good god, they gotta' somehow make some trades...
Trade like, 3 or 4 good players for one that is slightly better than any of those players, and I call that SOME sort of success.
The only positive is Kerr won't be here trading away draft picks to dump players we could really use. Really happy for him and his success in G-State too... the fucker...
Be a goddamn miracle if this team could so something right for a change...

Re: NBA DRAFT NIGHT 2015
I see your point but I think Morrison has some gas left in the tank and we could really use him here. If we could somehow get Jimmer on the team I'm sure he would get back to his BYU levels . Hornacek has the ability to bring life and energy to pretty much any player as we saw last year. If you imagine what he does at the end of quarters after a time-out and think about that strategy as applied to someone like Morrison or Jimmer -- I think we have a chance of competing again. Just saying man.Ladmo wrote:Yeah, you know what else really works well? I would also try and sign Wesley Johnson and Joe Johnson to help spread the floor next year
