Suns Agree to Deal with Tyson Chandler
Re: Suns Agree to Deal with Tyson Chandler
I just got back from playing some lunch ball. Whoa! I like it. That's the kind os veteran leader the Suns have been talking about. Awesome.

Heck, I'd take of my shirt and my pants too!Indy wrote:I can't believe we would get LMA, even after this. If we do, my hat is off to the FO.ShelC wrote:Savvy move by the FO. Woj reporting they just walked into the meeting with Aldridge.
I wrote it yesterday...Aldridge wants a 5 to play next to who can shoulder that defensive load. Chandler's a heavy hitter for sure and that's a lot for Aldridge to pass on now. Say what you want about Bledsoe and Knight, but if we can nab Aldridge with Chandler, things will fall into place nicely.

Another thing to keep in mind: the Suns' training staff WILL keep Chandler healthy if anyone can.
Come to think about it, this is probably the reason Chandler signed with Phoenix.

I wouldn't mind seeing TC and Len splitting the center duties at 24 minutes a game each.carey wrote:I'll bet you my house right now that TC doesn't average 30 min a game this year. I think it'll be more in the 25 range to keep him fresh as much as possible.EDC wrote:Kind of crazy. Not sure that a center was the piece I would go for first. I really hope Len isn't relegated to playing with the twins again like when he was coming off the bench. It got really old watching them pass around him.
Tyson was avg 30 minutes a game last season. Will the team play both Len and Tyson together? I really hope they don't cut Len down to 18 a game. He was at 22 last season but that number was going to go up as he learned to deal with foul trouble.
Man just a little worried that the one young guy that wasn't buried on the bench for us just may have been buried.

If there's enough outside shooting on the roster, I'd like to see them play together at times.

The Awful Twins. I like it. How about Tweedledumb and Tweedledumber individually?Indy wrote:yes. I think the Awful Twins and Tucker get it there.EDC wrote:So is there any way to make the money work for LMA without involving Bledsoe?

Ha ha. Although I'm having a hard time with the TC abbreviation due to our original FA TC.carey wrote:Look guys, if LMA says he's willing to come here, don't worry. We'll make the room. We have 5 1st rounders over the next 3 seasons to dump contracts. You probably only need to spend 2 of them because Markieff is signed to a good deal.
I however am in no way getting myself hyped for a Bledsoe-Knight=Warren=LMA-TC lineup. Nope not doing it.

If Aldridge doesn't come to play for us, TC will be a great pitch for the Love chase also.

We used to call this guy Chicken Chandler and mock him for his ridiculous rivalry with Amar'e. Times have changed a bit.

Like you once said in a win over the Spurs in the playoffs of 2007, those times were merely a pyrrhic victory.Cap wrote:We used to call this guy Chicken Chandler and mock him for his ridiculous rivalry with Amar'e. Times have changed a bit.
