Look, I get wanting out of the Boogie fiasco. Get off the roller coaster. But if you got 23-year-old Buddy Hield and 2 firsts you got robbed.
Go Suns!

There is nothing on that roster I'd want aside from Davis, and that isnt happening. It doesnt matter how many picks they get, they got crushed in this deal.

What a joke. McD seriously couldn't beat that awful offer?

Warren and the 2 Miami 1st rd picks is already better than that offer. Add Suns own pick + Chriss or Bender to it and its not even close.

If I had to guess, McD wouldnt pull the trigger on a trade without assurances he'd re-sign.

Why wouldn't he resign? We have Bledsoe + Booker which is better than Davis and nothing else.

Its funny that McD always brags about having so many picks and crap and how he'll use it on a star player when one's available.

What a god damn dumbass.

Seriously f*** him. He wasted the LAL 1st rd pick that LANCE BLANKS got us.

I wish I could just punch him and that stupid smirk of his in the face. This has ruined my whole next week before it even starts.

Watch this ***** not do anything with his thumb up his ass throughout the deadline.

Dragic and Markieff were right...McDonough is a complete moron.

Look, does Boogie make the Suns a title contender? Nope. With no assurance he re-signs, no way do I trade this years pick for him. Len and Knight? Sure, but they wanted Hield and cap space, that's not McD's fault. He cant make the Kings take his offer if there ever even was one.

Man, harsh words for McD. Relax. Just last week everybody here was saying they didn't want Cousins on the Suns. What makes you so mad now? That the Kings were dumb enough to trade him for junk?

I think the Kings are morons. I'm assuming the Suns could have had him if they wanted. I'll reserve judgement about the Suns decision not to get him based off what they do during this deadline and offseason. If they somehow are able to pull off a trade for Butler or George, I'll be happy we didn't get Boogie. If we stay the course and lose out and get the #1 or #2 pick, I'll also be happy we didn't get Boogie. If we stand pat and end up with the 5th-6th pick and use our cap space on resigning PJ fucking Tucker, I'll be pissed.

I think Boogie is a great player to acquire. The Kings have been criminally misusing him and putting a crappy team around him. I would have been in favor of acquiring him so long as we didn't give up Booker. Bummed out that he apparently went for such a modest haul and that we didn't try to beat it. But I respect the FO's decision if they felt that he was too much of a risky head-case to bring onto our roster. Personally I think he'll thrive once he's on a better team, but I am not sure about the fit in NO. He and Davis seem like a weird match to me, especially with not much else of interest on that team. What will their starting lineup be? I still don't think that team makes the playoffs this year, though I could be wrong.

I've always been a supporter of trading for a superstar first and then figuring his attitude out later.

Remember when Kobe Bryant was seen as a guy with attitude problems?

Z-Bo was seen as a cancer before he turned into an All Star player for the Grizzlies.

How are you gonna feel if McD drafts some busts with those picks? I'll take the sure thing over any draft prospects every time.

Bledsoe is Cousins best friend, he could have helped keep him out of trouble. Plus Chandler could have helped in that regard too.

I think everyone on this forum right now knows that none of us are gonna see the Suns win a championship in our lifetimes. That's fine, but now I wonder if we will see playoffs in our lifetimes if Ryan McDonough is this much of a ****ing turd.

For the record, I think TOO and I were the only ones adamantly against trading for Boogie. Everyone else was firmly pro-Boogie or leaning towards it.
