Or Cousins drags Bledsoe into trouble. I think we're assuming a lot. I'm starting to believe more and more that the "unnamed Western Conference GM" that wouldn't touch Boogie was McDonough in spite of the b.s. Watson has been peddling on KTAR.
Go Suns!

https://twitter.com/CarmichaelDave/status/833536550352801793 What kind of low ball offer must McD have made for the Kings to prefer the Pelicans offer over ours?

OMG I bet this idiot included Brandon Knight in it so that he can say that the trade for Knight helped him land a star.

Edit: Holy s**t I was right!!!

For the record, I think TOO and I were the only ones adamantly against trading for Boogie. Everyone else was firmly pro-Boogie or leaning towards it.
Nope

I would absolutely have traded Warren Len and a first rounder for Cousins BTW

So if the Suns had drafted Hield instead of Bender, we could have had DeMarcus Cousins on our roster right now. Is that correct?

There is no possible way to know this. Not everything is as black and white as you think it is.

Some are reporting that the Suns offered Knight, Warren, Len and our 2017 UNPROTECTED and Sac took the NO offer over that.

That's a lot to offer with Cousins threatening not to resign with any team that trades for him.

They decided they did not want to deal with the Suns or they REALLY like Hield and Tyrone.

Brandon Knight is a deal breaker for any trade. I'll give Vivek some props, he's not that stupid. Can't say the same about McD.

As a Suns fan this decade I think it is impossible to take it seriously. At least not if you want to stay sane. :)

Sorry, but I am not the least bit upset or saddened that the Suns didn't land Cousins. I had zero interest in him.

Multiple reporters and insiders have said that the Suns along with the Lakers made offers. Those offers just stank.

Knight came through for us again on the ping pong front. He is so good at tanking the mere mention of his name kills any sort of trade talks.

The Pistons offered Drummond.

There are multiple reports that there were other offers that were clearly better on the table but the Kings REALLY like Buddy Hield.

Warren and the 2 Miami 1st rd picks is already better than that offer. Add Suns own pick + Chriss or Bender to it and its not even close.
Obviously, he didn't want to. Right?

What a freaking win for the Pelicans. That's a scary front-line. And Casspi is a sneaky good fit alongside them.
Precious Achiuwa, Dalano Banton, Batum, Chris Boucher, Amir Coffey, Tre Jones, Laravia, Mamukelashvili, Tre Mann, De'Anthony Melton, Minott, Nance, Chris Paul, GP2, T. Prince, Reed, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Tate, Watford, Yabusele

The kings got crushed here. I find it hard to believe buddy hield,a mid 1st b Rd pick n spare parts was the best they could do. Gross

I, for one, do think I'll see a Suns championship in my lifetime but I doubt McDonough will be at the helm when it happens.
