Game of Thrones: Season 7

Post by AmareIsGod »

Let's get it started.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Maybe they needed a Red Priest to offset the Red priestess? #gameofSheeran

Great to have the show back. Episode 1 was kind of a filler, set-up-the-chess-pieces episode, but that's okay. The only plot I'm not very excited about is watching Sansa probably turn on Jon and try to undermine his rule of the North; that will be lame given everything the characters have gone through.

having people turn on each other because they think they have the higher moral ground/better ideas/more import is a hallmark of the show.

That was a good episode. The Mother of Dragons had a dialogue towards Jon Snow for the ages.

I just changed it so no one gets mad but not sure why it's a spoiler. It doesn't reveal anything. Also the shocked face is mostly referring to that it was leaked this early.

Now that it has officially aired, I will say:
1) What if it breathes ice? That would be cool.
2) Good thing the army of the dead has access to so many kilns, iron ore, and blacksmiths so they could make up 2 tons of chains so quickly.

Don't get me started on that type of shit. In my mind, this show went from a masterpiece to a hollywood popcorn fantasy spectacle.

It's fun to watch, but for people who've invested in the backstory of these characters, it's been abysmal recently.

Wouldn't it have been cool to see them using chains made of ice instead? They could have done that. Or even have the Knight King go under water to reanimate him.

There is a lot of fan servicing going on this season. It is fine, I guess. But nothing too surprising or interesting. I thought the part with Benjen was the worst this week though.

That wasn't so bad to me. There was some closure to his character by tying up his first encounter with John when he went to the Wall.

How about bringing all that dragon glass and then not using it? WTF was that all about?
