But we'd still have the Lakers pick.
Which likely won't convey this year.

I think the Lakers pick will be better next year. If I was Philly, I wouldn't be too upset if it rolls over. Although Murray, Hield and Dunn all make some sense for them.

Chris Paul out with a broken bone in his right hand.

Yep, things not looking too good for the Clips. Paul out with the broken hand and Griffin holding his leg. Series tied 2-2.

The Warriors/Clippers second round series would have been interesting. But now the Blazers could definitely win that series instead. I think the Warriors would probably still beat either team in the 2nd round even without Curry. So I guess Steph just needs to get healthy by the WCF against the Spurs.

Could not have happened to a better teammate.

You guys know I don't wish anyone to be injured... except that fucking guy. Glad it's just bad enough to where his career isn't ruined but the elusive 2nd round series victory will remain as such.

Yeah, thought about you carey when it happened and didn't think it would bother you much. Sir Charles went on and on about what a great guy and teammate he is.

Chuck must not know a single person from New Orleans. It wasn't just wanting out, it was the way he went about doing it. I'm not even really a Pelicans fan, but I know people that are and they hate him so much.

I also have to say that everyone (and I mean everyone) is worried the same thing is going to happen with Anthony Davis.

This Hornets / Heat game has been amazing. Anyone watching? Dragic just got stuffed on an attempted 3 with the Heat down 2. There's been such bad officiating in this series. Refs missed a crucial goal tending that benefited the Heat and made up for it with a no-call on Wade who looks like he's going to eat someone's kitten.

Heat lose.

Dragic - 10 points, 6 rebs, 3 assists - $15M dollars this season.

As opposed to 30 games of Bledsoe for 14?

Apples? Oranges? Injuries happen. Dragic has been pretty mediocre and the Heat don't use him well at all, which is weird given that Spo is a supposed great coach.

I blame it more on how he is used. He plays with a ball stopping guard in Wade and now another in Joe Johnson. I would still rather have Dragic than any of our "point guards."

Yeah, great game. Hornets have now won three in a row after losing the first two. It's a fun series to watch.

I don't.
He's been outplayed by Jeremy Lin in this series, and the Hornets don't exactly run a D'antoni kind of offense either.

This Hornets/Heat series has been pretty interesting. I really liked the Heat to come out of it, but their lack of outside shooting is fatal. If you look at the box score, 4 of the 5 Hornets starters shot well from 3 (as did Batum off the bench). For the Heat, you could make the argument that zero players really shot well from 3. Can't win a series like that, even with Dwyane Wade having flashback performances and scoring 25-30 every night.

Hornets are just a well coached team, no frills, hustle guys with a lethal scorer in Kemba. Lin is just a steady guard who's a great complement there. Hope they keep it going.
