Yup.

He just should not play out of the pick and roll from the top of the 3. He needs to get the ball around the elbows off movement and operate as a SG.

While I agree that Book’s average ball-handling prevents him from splitting double teams, I think he’s gotten better at passing the ball earlier. He doesn’t seem to get trapped as often as before. Still, until his handles improve, double teams will likely keep working against him.

Booker is a good passer. His turnovers on the double teams seem to happen because he doesn’t react quick enough and like others have said, he isn’t the best ball handler. He lets himself get trapped too much.

I have seen times where he’s passing too early as well. He’s got to let the double team commit to him if we are going to get an advantage on it.

Needs to find that sweet spot where he’s not getting trapped and not passing too early.
