Since Richards is the only backup who could fill in for Williams as starter if he's hurt at this point I'm not trading him for a guard who'd only play garbage time.

Y'all still think Richards isn't our worst rotation player? He is and it isn't close. There's a reason Oso gets twice the minutes. Mobility and IQ. Ok, that's 2 reasons.

Total for the season, the Suns are -55 with Richards on the floor. That's about -2.3 in 9.4 minutes each game. He has started twice, going -13 and -17. The Suns are just better when he isn't on the court. No hate for the guy, but I'd trade him for a pick. You aren't getting more than that for him.

Strongly agree. I'd actually just trade him for a second rounder outright so we can get below the luxury tax and not have to deal with repeater penalties.
