You've seen enough of him to like more than Bledose, Dragic, and Thomas?OE32 wrote: Frankly, though, the PG I like best on this roster is Tyler.
There were completely benign quotes from him earlier in the year that some tried to kill him for, but these are nearly beyond reproach. They were trying to bait him and he responded with the utmost professionalism. Props to him.Wally_West wrote:http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/n ... /20507035/Asked if he was good with the current situation, Thomas said, "I'm not OK with losing, so I don't think anybody is OK with what is going on right now. We've got to figure it out."
Asked if he was good with his individual situation, Thomas said, "My family loves it. So if they're happy, I'm happy. Like I said, we're losing now. And, no, I'm not OK with the situation right now because we are on a six-game losing streak. I'm not OK with it."
Come on. Thomas and Dragic have both missed times. There's been plenty of moments for Bledsoe to step up, and more times than not, he hasn't.Mori Chu wrote:To be fair, we do have some guys capable of being All-Stars, most notably Bledsoe. Welcome back buddy, you were missed.INFORMER wrote:You've seen enough of him to like more than Bledose, Dragic, and Thomas?OE32 wrote: Frankly, though, the PG I like best on this roster is Tyler.
And for $70M, you'd think you'd get some consistency.INFORMER wrote:Come on. Thomas and Dragic have both missed times. Both of those adjectives are too mild!Ring_Wanted wrote:Gross.Shabazz wrote:Trading Goran to make room for IT would be asinine.
Can we give Houston Bledsoe instead?OE32 wrote:I'm not interested in dealing for Monroe.
That Houston trade is exactly what some of us have been talking about - and I would do it. I think it'll be hard to keep Dragic beyond this season if a contender offers him the role of lead PG. Lotto picks are hard to come by except by losing.
I would consider it seriously but a Bledsoe-Harden backcourt could make the Rockets an insane power in the west if they learn to share the ball, just like the Suns did last season.carey wrote:Can we give Houston Bledsoe instead?OE32 wrote:I'm not interested in dealing for Monroe.

I understand what you are saying, but if we don't keep Goran, I don't think a lineup that includes two of the four of Bled, IT, Ennis, and Green for 48 minutes is going to work. One key reason we were successful last year with the 2 PGs together, is that Goran can really play the 2 as well. Bledsoe, Ennis, and IT are not capable of that (Eric is closest, but only in a pinch).OE32 wrote:I was encouraged by the fact that we got our turnovers under control against Charlotte. I think both Goran and IT do a better job with the ball than Bled, who tends to force things.
I guess what I'm saying is, I wouldn't mind if IT stayed rather than Dragic. After all, he is under contract, and at something around half the price we can expect to pay for Goran - if we can convince him to stay, which I think is doubtful the way the season's playing out.
