I'm convinced we are the worst team in the league at executing whatever is drawn up, I'd bet big money on that.

Why the heck did we have 3 PGs and 2 Morrii in the game for the last few minutes? Did we want the Grizzlies to trample us? And that last play ... horrible. Indefensible.
We made great progress with that line up.

So you think Hornacek is calling and drawing up good stuff and it's just the players' failure to execute?

If we had made 1 more FT, we would have gone to OT. Two more, we'd have won outright. Nobody but ourselves to blame.

I'm not sure. That play looked good for a drive by Bleds.

Statistically, that's true. He is clutch.
Doesn't mean he's a guy you go to for buzzer beaters.

A lot of good play from the team tonight and it was all for naught.

C'mon INF, Markieff has been clutch this year in the 4th. Don't deny that.

Agreed. We can't play with a lead unless we keep running, which gives plenty of chances for the other team to catch up. It is frustrating.

I don't mind Markieff taking the last shot of the game. My thing is, it needs to be a good shot. They gave him the ball with no spacing with his man and his shot got blocked. I wanna know what the play was that was drawn up by our coach.

So you shouldn't go to a clutch player for a game winning shot at the buzzer? Got it.

That's what I meant when i agreed with Xylus. That's not the play to go to Keef. He needs more than 3 seconds.

This wasn't an issue with us playing uptempo though. We lost because of two boneheaded turnovers at the end of the game. The inbound pass that we turned over is inexcusable in addition to Bledsoe dribbling the ball into the other player.
