Yeah I was watching the end of the game. He redeemed QPon fouling Westy on a 3 to tie the game in the last second. It was pretty amazing. I yelled Oh My God and my kids came running in my room. What happened? Lol. I had to show them the replay.
Go Suns!

And I'll say it again: the Pelicans are better when Evans plays the point. That article about the best non-All-Stars couldn't have been more off the mark.

I still fear the Thunder more then the Pels in terms of the playoffs, but when its all said and done they both may pass us. If I was a betting man though I'd say the Pelicans miss the playoffs. Still don't think Dallas is a sure thing though.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

I would love for the Suns to pursue Alexis Ajinca in the offseason.

How bout the Clippers blowing a 20pt 1stq lead and losing by 16 in Toronto.

I fully expect them to try and make some sort of desperation move at the deadline...If they still have there 1st rd pick I'm sure it will be involved.

Here I thought I was the only person who still liked Evans. He's had his ups and downs, but he's got a really strong skillset.

I turned it on when the Pels were inbounding so I miss the foul.

Weird....OKC Just beat Pels in NO earlier this week without Durant.

I keep thinking there our bound to be a lot of top tier teams making short term moves to try and put them over the hump and a lot of eastern teams doing the same to be in the playoff race since its so even out there. Now would be a good time to be an average team with some tradeable assets to rebuild and reload through the next draft

Wow, that Davis 3 for the win was amazing. Seeing Durant's heroic shots to get it tied to that point was also a sight to behold. This ESPN recap video shows the relevant shots:

What do you guys think of this one? Was Paul's comment sexist? Did it deserve a fine?

Myself, I think it was inappropriate to say, "Maybe this isn't for her." It's one thing to say that a ref made a bad call or whatever. But Paul's comment basically says, "This person shouldn't be in their job." And while that might not be overtly sexist, I do think he'd be less likely to say that about a male ref. Questioning the legitimacy of the ref's hiring or whether they belong in the job is something that happens to female refs way more than it does to male refs, so in my mind, it's a comment he made that unnecessarily questioned the legitimacy of the female ref.

It's the standard fine for complaining about the refs to the media.

I don't even understand why he was jawing at the ref in the first place. He made it seem like she was holding up play. In the play the ball was thrown out of bounds by Lebron. It wasn't a made shot so the ref had to handle the ball before they could throw it in. That is just part of the rules.

So she gets the ball and throws it instantly back to them. There wasn't even any delay. So I'm really confused on why Paul would be saying anything to the ref at that point. Especially in a game that was already heated.

His comments after the fact were borderline. If he was white and talking about one of the first black referees what would people say? Not sure the NBA can punish him for those comments because it was borderline but he definitely should have thought things through before opening his mouth. I think a little flak from the media is warranted in this situation though.
