Hey Marcus - if you're going to be pissed, be pissed at your bother for his "effort" tonight.

I said in the other thread that Markieff Morris might be my favorite current Sun. But boy, Marcus Morris just might be my least favorite. He's such a knucklehead, and the technicals drive me crazy. I know that both brothers get the techs, but come on, a tech from the bench? How freaking stupid is that? Can Horny please give the guy 10 straight DNP-CDs for that one?

Maybe Markieff will eventually earn the nickname the Mailman for consistently mailing in ball games. He doesn't rebound and doesn't defend and has 20% shooting games regularly. This guy is a joke.
I like the effort out of Len again and the potential in Knight.
53% shooting and we lose.

Guys, what is the verdict so far? Couldn't watch the game!
Marcus Thornton didn't play?

Can anybody easily do a query to find out how many games of <= 20% shooting Markieff has had this year? I really don't think he "has 20% shooting games regularly" by any stretch of that word.

Just remember that Mori called Archie a lost cause.

...he also said Archie couldn't get boners too.

Bulls: +11 in free throws AND rebounds.
There's your ballgame.
My man Gasol with 22pts, 14 rebs, 2 blks. To think Lon Babby passed on him last offseason. I would have signed him anyways.

Ask and ye shall receive, my man:

3 games of 20% or less shooting. (Coincidentally Marcus has 3 games of 20% or less as well. TWINS!)
(Note: Wasn't sure how to make it just Markieff on the search so I made it for 25 year olds since Marcus & he are the only 25 year olds on the team.

In your search form, you specify 2FG%. Changing that to FG%, another game matches: Eric Bledsoe on his 25th birthday went 2-11 from the field, but 2-5 from two-point range.

This season we are not a shooting team either. No running, no 3pt. So weird for a Suns team, huh?

Pau Gasol is 34 and probably wanted to go somewhere where he thought he had a chance to get to the Finals.
We don't know what the Lakers asked for him when they were shopping him last year (but apparently nobody wanted to pay it), or whether the Suns even contacted him when he became a free agent. Sure, there was perhaps a remote possibility that he might have signed here, but at what price?
Get over it guys, move on.

Watching last night, I'm almost more excited about a potential Knight-Goodwin backcourt than Bledsoe-Knight. I think Goodwin's got more basketball instincts that Knight and Bledsoe and is just a smoother player. He's one of those guys who can get to the basket from the 3pt line in like 2 steps. I don't know that he'll ever be a great shooter off the bounce, and his 3pt shot is still pretty terrible but he's got time. He's a guy we need to dedicate minutes to and keep in the mix.
