And yet, he speaks so highly of you.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:Hometown BS signing. Dude is a nobody.carey wrote:Budinger is such a weird signing.
Meh, still sucks.Superbone wrote:And yet, he speaks so highly of you.TheOriginalOriginal wrote:Hometown BS signing. Dude is a nobody.carey wrote:Budinger is such a weird signing.
Hey, at least it gives us another SF to play in addition to Tucker. I don't see any point in NOT signing him, either (what is there to lose?).Mori Chu wrote:I don't see any point in signing Budinger. Not what we need. Seems like just a "sign the U of A guy to make the fans happy" move.
OE, that seems like just a really silly point you are trying to make to defend Ryan.OE32 wrote:Hey, at least it gives us another SF to play in addition to Tucker. I don't know, 40+ minutes of Tucker is a lot.Indy wrote:OE, that seems like just a really silly point you are trying to make to defend Ryan.OE32 wrote:Hey, at least it gives us another SF to play in addition to Tucker. Agreed. But you can't find a single guy in the D league that could contribute? I can't imagine Chase is still going to be on this roster after 20 games.Hermen wrote:I don't know, 40+ minutes of Tucker is a lot.Indy wrote:OE, that seems like just a really silly point you are trying to make to defend Ryan.OE32 wrote:Hey, at least it gives us another SF to play in addition to Tucker. Also true. Chase is only one year older than Whiteside though, maybe he also blooms!Indy wrote:Agreed. But you can't find a single guy in the D league that could contribute? Hell, maybe we're just doing his agent a favor. Who knows. Who cares? How can one agree OR disagree with this move? Should we have grabbed someone from the D-League? We've already given 5 D-League players a chance this season - Orlando Johnson, Jordan McRae, Phil Pressey, Corey Jefferson, Lorenzo Brown. Chase will be our second waiver claim of the season. Were all of these mistakes? Are all transactions to be assessed against hypothetical players? I'm not defending Ryan; what I'm saying is common sense.Indy wrote:OE, that seems like just a really silly point you are trying to make to defend Ryan.OE32 wrote:Hey, at least it gives us another SF to play in addition to Tucker. That's pretty much it. John Jenkins, Chase Budinger, DeJuan Blair, Anthony Bennett - none of these guys are gonna change the equation.EDC wrote:I don't understand how anyone can be upset about signing a slightly below average vet to a deal for the rest of the season. We have had enough D-League guys go through here. You can't expect our young guys to do well if we keep throwing them out on to the court with a bunch of zeros. We need vet role players to help support the young guys that matter.
Maybe. But complaining about this move just seems like a silly point against Ryan. It's just bitching to bitch essentially. Who cares...IMO, he's better then Sonny.Indy wrote:OE, that seems like just a really silly point you are trying to make to defend Ryan.OE32 wrote:Hey, at least it gives us another SF to play in addition to Tucker. Kinda like Childress. Thankfully McD wasn't stupid enough to give Weems the type of contract that Blanks gave Childress.LazarusLong wrote:I thought Weems was going to be a good addition, but he seems to have left his game back in Europe ....
Yeah, and I don't know if "stupid" was the right word. More like "conflicted".ShelC wrote:Babby brought Childress in.
