Why would he do that? I could understand if we were a serious contender, but we’re not. Sure he’d have “a chance to win.” Maybe even a playoff series. But not much more.

Is it possible we start Jones?
A jones-Booker-Beal-KD lineup is small but is it that much smaller with Allen swapped with Jones? Both are small but maybe we view it as a better balance with Jones starting.

I’d put $5 on it…. I’m sure they won’t win but you just never know when the injury bug will bite. I mean it’s more likely to bite us but what the hell lol.

Tyus Jones is really good..he was 12/7 last year and shot 41% from 3…he had 66 turnovers in 66 games…a 7.3/1 A/TO ratio. He’s a legitimate starting level nba pg. A major upgrade….
Would make us small, but then you would have trade options. Attach the 2031 pick to Grayson, Royce, or Nurkic and bring in a difference maker at the 5.
I’m not saying they win…but adding a player of Tyus Jones talent at the minimum helps a lot.

Getting Tyus Jones on a minimum contract would be an absolute steal. I don't want to get my hopes up but I'd be giddy if this happened.
