Cavs apparently interested in a swap for Garland.

This Harden rumor is interesting and confusing. He is averaging 25 ppg and 8 assists for them. But he's 36 and fat and generally won't stay healthy or ever get any better. And the Clips are basically going nowhere despite a nice little run of wins lately. Garland would probably be a much better long-term prospect for them imo. Cleveland showing some desperation since their season is not going well compared to last year. Could maybe be good for both teams but I think CLE would be making a mistake to take on Harden at his age.

Kinda surprised he’s sucked as bad as he has but good on us for saying no.

Thought something was fishy with Harden when they said he was home in Phoenix. Surprising he wants out of LA tho. He could be a good fit in Cleveland and the Cavs probably see this year as wide open in the East, maybe next year too, so might as well go for it. Wolves supposedly in convos, wonder if the Rockets could figure something out. Send him East tho and let the Clips go into full rebuild.

I think the Yabu rumor is old or recycled. We want to take back less salary and Yabu makes more than Richards.

If his contract were lower sign me up, I think he'd have been a solid fit at the 4'with size.

Is there a version where we add more pieces to get the salary balance to help us? Maybe we throw in NHD and they give us one of their end-of-the-bench bantha fodder?

NHD is just a minimum too, so he doesn’t help. You’d have to include Royce
