Saw Age of Ultron today. Really enjoyed it. Not sure why people did not & why many are calling Joss a misogynist. Seems like people want too much from these kind of films now and days. I laughed and clapped and had a good time.

If you want a thinking man's film about AI though, you should check out Alex Garland's new film Ex Machina.

Ex Machina is a really good movie.

Nobody knew what ever happened to Bettie Page after she quit modeling. This documentary, narrated by the late great Bettie tells the story. I was wowed!

I wasn't sure what this was when I watched it, but it turned out to be truly heart-warming. I laughed my ass off and this movie left me smiling and feeling good, and how many movies can do that?

If you're a fan, you've probably already seen this at least once. The comedian's comedian, a true genius in the art of comedy, a real revolutionary. Often stolen from, never truly replicated. I can only imagine what he would tell us today.

Another truly inspiring documentary I would also suggest is "Life Itself," the Roger Ebert doc. It is a little depressing, though. But man, I love Siskel & Ebert and this was an amazing film.

Ebert is amazing. Have you seen "Dear Zachary" or "How to Survive a Plague?"

Thanks, Lad. Those all look very interesting. I love comedy and I'm not familiar with Hicks so I'll probably watch that one first. Just read a little on Wikipedia. What a tragic loss of life while still so young.

I have the second one in my que Carey, didn't know about the first one. Watched the trailers and wow! That's some powerful stuff! Yeah, gonna' have to watch that.

'Boney, I think you're gonna' love Bill Hicks. I think you might be able to find several of his live acts on Youtube. There is a famously interesting one from a Chicago gig he did where he completely loses it against some drunk hecklers. Bill Hicks is a personal hero of mine, would definitely make it to my Mount Rushmore of favorite people ever.

I watched a great double feature a couple weekends ago. Her followed by Ex Machina. I really enjoyed both of them and they went very well together.

Both are great movies.

Finally saw Gone Girl about a month ago. Wasn't impressed at all with the movie and felt like there was a lot missing in translation from the book. Didn't love the cast either.

I've seen part of Foxcatcher at this point but again, wasn't impressed. Thought Carrell's makeup was too distracting from the performance and it kind of dragged along when all I wanted to see was the ending.
