Stat guys gave Alex 1 block on the night - I counted 4. Pau certainly kicked his ass. Alex's jumper was working, though, which was nice to see.

Sure would be nice if Marcus can develop some consistency on both sides of the ball and some tenacity on the boards - give us the freedom to get rid of Tucker this offseason, play TJ behind Marcus. I wonder if Bullock is ready to step into a 10th man role.

Given that we're unlikely to play next year's draft pick (unless we draft Montrezl or Willie, both of which I consider highly unlikely selections), we're going to need to pick up a couple vet bigs this offseason. Hopefully Brandan Wright re-signs, but I'd be a little surprised, frankly.

Yea, felt like Len had a bunch of blocks and he definitely changed a lot as well. I like Brandan Wright too, hope he re-signs. He's not a starter, but he does some good things as a defensive big.

If things stay as they are, I wouldn't expect Wright to re-sign. He isn't getting significant minutes and has no real role in our offense. At least in Dallas he got to play consistently and knew what they wanted him to do: set picks and roll to the basket. They actually used him and made a little bit of a weapon out of him. They would kill to have him back right now; he was really useful there. We just kind of throw Wright out on the floor for scant minutes with no plan and play 4-on-5 on offense when he's out there. Why should he re-sign for more years of that?

It's a shame, too, because the team is seriously lacking in players who can set a decent pick and then roll or pop or both, and Wright is quite good at that, but nobody cares. Lack of P&R in our offense is one of its biggest flaws IMO.

I think he'll see consistent minutes from here on out. We moved Plumlee so now he should be seeing 20+ minutes a night in that role. He's had some practices, getting to know the offense and defense and personnel. Would love to see him re-up.

I agree and hope that they make him a bigger part of the team going forward. Moving Plumlee would seem to be a vote of confidence in Wright. Now let's follow through on it.
