I agree with EJ that it is great to see Booker was patient and played 6 minutes before taking a shot

It is sad how bad they look driving to the basket most of the time. Every once in awhile they make a great move and look like something special but it is like once every 8 times they try to drive. The rest of the time looks just plain awful. Jumping in the air throwing the ball away. Jumping into someone hoping to get a foul or just dribbling it off their own feet.

More turnovers than assists for our guards.

Totally agree. It won't always be as bad as tonight but still a problem.

Dear Suns -

Thanks for the opening night shit sandwich.

Our patience is running out.

What did I miss? Thinking of getting League Pass so I can watch my Suns all season long!
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Predictable disappointment, that's what you missed.

Wow. What a turd of a game. Keep Booker and Warren, maybe Len; nuke most of the rest from orbit.

Wouldn't be such a bad idea, you just know it won't happen though. I also wouldn't mind a new head coach either.

Agreed but I don't think McDonough is going anywhere unfortunately.

Bledsoe and Knight look like pretty good 6th man guards.

The Suns are going to pay them 140 million.

30 wins seems reasonable for team I saw tonight.

This was not the home opener we were looking for.

Obviously we have some work to do.

I intentionally avoid any Suns news the day after our last game of the year every year for the last several years. I did catch a few things like the Chandler trade, Booker, Marcus gone and a few names thrown about. I just turn on the DVR and the game starts and it's time to find out who is on the team with a nice clean slate. As expected, there were a bunch of guys I didn't know. It seemed like there were 30 guys on the team. Hornecek seemed to play everybody as if to also start them all with a clean slate. All kinds of things were written on the slate during the game.

Did Markieff make a basket? Almost fouls out and gets a T. Tick, tick, tick ...

I think as usual the cream will rise to the top and rotations will tighten up soon enough. As usual somebody won't be happy about it but, welcome to the NBA.

I wonder who we'll take with the 10th pick at next year's draft?

It's unfortunate that we waited until the 4th quarter to start playing some real D. Booker was the lone bright spot for me. However, I think there was a lot of overreaction in this thread. We've got a lot of new guys. Let's give them a little bit of time to get their act together. I think they'll come out focused on Friday. They had better.
