Lucky break for the Dubs. Clippers at full strenght could have force them to play Curry prematurely. As long as they avoid to fall behind 2-1, they can rest him until game 6, if this series goes that far, wich by the way, that could serve them well to gain recovery time if in control of the series.

You think Spurs and Thunder will be over so soon Warriors would have to stall?

I think it wiil be over in 5 games. OKC has the superior talent, but San Antonio & Popovich are too much to overcome for Durant, Westbrook and little else.

The Spurs have the best player in the series, and I dont think OKC has superior talent at all. Spurs are deeper IMO.

The best player in the series?

Curious to know if you really would pick Leonard over Durant and Westbrook to start your franchise, given the choice only between this two teams, and only one player to pick.

The Spurs are deeper, but you can only have 5 players at the time in the court, so having the two best players out of the ten competing, is not a small thing. Of course, not even Lebron in his prime was capable to win it all by himself, so this, like any other advantage (coaching, deep, homecourt, etc) can only take you so far.

Who's watching Heat/Hornets Game 7? Dragic has 15 big points so far and we haven't even reached halftime. Go Dragon! Go Heat!

That's my answer too. Who do you think Pop would pick?

I don't know, honestly. It's a great question to think about. He likes his unassuming stars which is Leonard to a tee, but KD is a transcendent talent. I hope someone asks him this some day.

Interesting question. I think he could take Durant to a new level, as he did with Tony Parker. A scary new level... Same with Westbrook. We are looking at Popovich's Leonard, not so sure Kahwi would had reached this level in an average franchise, not to mention a Sacramento level of disfunction.

So I think that given the choice, Popovich would take Durant and Westbrook before Leonard, and would mold them into Uber Durant and Uber Rusell. Popovich it's a no non-sense guy, but very capable to cut the crap without losing the player (i.e. Parker, Diaw)

But Pop also takes basketball players over athletes, and team players over "stars".

Durant was forged into a "Star", he is not a head case from within, like Cousins. He would embrace Popovich ways just fine. Not so sure about Russell.

Pacers declined the option on Solomon Hill for next season. He's someone I'd be interested in taking a look at in free agency.

The Raptors are about to win their first playoff series since 2001 where they beat the Knicks in a best of 5 3-2. 15 long years. Congrats to them.

I was pulling for him, I really was, but he has disappointed so far as a pro. I'm not sure he's what we need.

Man, Raptors almost had a meltdown of epic proportions to end the game. They also got bailed out of an obvious rebounding foul under the Pacers basket that might have made it a one point game.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Anybody else notice that our own sideline reporter, Kevin Ray, has been getting a lot of love by TNT? He's been on quite a few broadcasts.
