Thank you very much, it means a lot to me.
But I still remember wishing Leandro Barbosa a "good riddance" as my final sentence, saying good bye to one of my favorites players at that time!!!

LOL. Well, he came back to give you another chance to get the goodbye right. When he leaves this time, I'm betting you won't say "good riddance."
Oh no, I won't, lesson learned!!!
I was looking at your new sig, and I hesitate as JJ has been used on relation to good ol' Joe. Hopefully our new guy will steal the moniker from him really soon. No doubt, that nothing last forever...
I still love watching Joe play.
Another "what could have been" in Phoenix Suns history when Joe broke his face against Stackhouse and the Mavs.

Ugh, that and the contract talks that broke down over what is now a paltry $5 mil.

Yep, one of Sarver's biggest mistakes along with the Thomas asset dump. And then let's not talk about how we could have added Igoudala straight out of college to that mix.

Obviously, it's not my money, so it's easy for me to spend and not worry about it, but if you make decisions based on money instead of basketball, then you shouldn't be an owner, IMO. I had another moment of getting slapped back to reality after listening to a Celtics podcast this morning and the guy claimed that Sarver was in the bottom three of owners in the league, but at least ahead of Dolan. I keep thinking, we are never going to live that down or get past his rep. Then I also wonder if enough of these kids turn out to be fantastic, will he go over the luxury tax and keep them?

All good questions. You would think that maybe Sarver's reputation has improved in recent years but maybe not. To us Suns followers, he seems to have improved in the last few years. But who knows what's going on behind closed doors. At least I haven't seen the cheepness come out for a while like when he underpaid Kerr and staff and lost them. I heard recently that the training staff has a new contract.

He spends money, he just doesn't treat people well and makes decisions based on ruffled pride. I honestly believe that it wasn't the $ with Joe Johnson, that there was bad communication in the negotiations and Sarver was too mad to compromise, and Joe was offended by that and did not want to come back after that.

Hopefully, not another rookie owner, trying the team as his new shinny toy... Be careful for what you wish...

Are you talking about when he was a restricted free agent? I was talking about the off-season prior right before the Nash era.

I think the way Sarver handled the summer before affected what went down the summer he was a free agent.

Agreed. When he didn't defer to his GM's opinion, and said, "Let it ride and see what happens. I spent too much money already."

It wouldn't be a Suns offseason without us rehashing the Joe Johnson years.

Agreed. Occasionally I'll take a peek but I usually remember quickly why I have his posts blocked.
I know!
I was having a politically incorrect laugh out of all of this (my reading is far more advanced than my writing so I usually only read this kind of exchanges, afraid to write something wrong), then suddenly it morphed into some "Are you looking to me? -drunk-in-a-bar" kind of thing, I had to unblock SDC's comments and saw why the mood changed so fast. For someone that likes to stir the pot almost on every post he writes, he has an incredibly thin skin.
Now the joke is over, we should shoot it out of mercy...
okay, how about practicing some civility and respect in this forum. just because you disagree doesnt mean you personally attack.
it's still a fact that josh jackson cant shoot. that's data for you ( if you know your elementary level math.)
Yeah, we all agree that he needs to improve his shooting, but you said that he is worse in every shooting category than MKG was when he came out of Kentucky. I didn't refute it at first, because I assumed you were comparing stats. I certainly didn't think you were comparing shooting form. It just didn't sound right to me, so I looked up the stats myself and it turned out that Jackson was better at everything except free throw shooting. Using your elementary math skills, explain how Jackson is worse at "
EVERYTHING" than MKG was coming out. If you have the data, back up your claim. It should be easy to prove if you are so convinced that is the case.
just because shaq shot 60% from the field many times in his career doesnt mean he can shoot, and by "shoot" i mean shoot from outside.
i was hoping justise winslow's 3pt shooting percentage and FG% in college (and not his FT%) would translate to the nba, but it didnt.
you say it's only his FT shooting taht is deficient, but he's shooting it at a 56 percent rate.
before the draft, i was hoping the boy wonder would draft tatum instead. since jackson is here, i hope he finds a shot doctor and i wish him the best. honestly, i dont think he will move the needle, but i hope i'm wrong.

It's a simple question.

Yeah, please enlight me about civility and respect, while mocking somebody's math level... What's next? Momma jokes?
