I think Atlanta still has one game left, right? Or was it already 3-2?
Really bad loss for Jokic and the nuggets
Atlanta's dead. And yeah, it hurts to have your last game of the season be that kind of home beatdown, I seem to recall.
I feel like that was also Al McCoy's last game as well
Was that the 2nd round vs Mavs or the next year 1st round that I don't even remember vs who?

That Atlanta loss is just one game, but that's the kind of absolute ass-kicking that can linger after the season is over. The stink of that blowout in an elimination game will haunt those guys, and it really blunts the excitement folks were starting to feel for the upstart Hawks who took a few games from the Knicks and looked like they might even get the upset. Also re-raises questions about CJ McCollum's value and about their #1 pick, Risacher, who seems to be a huge bust so far.

It was that Mavs series in the second round, yeah, after the narrow win against New Orleans in the opening round. Lost both of the last two games in that series, and both were blowouts by like 30 points in Dallas and then by like 40 at home. So disheartening coming off the best regular season in franchise history.

Wow, the Magic really blew it in their Game 6, losing to the Pistons after being up big in the 2nd half. Detroit looked absolutely done, and then the Magic went into a drought, missing something like 25 FG in a row. Their spirit felt broken by the end.
I think the Rockets will win this upcoming Game 6 against the Lakers. But it would be extremely tough to beat LA at home in Game 7.

Raptors win and force a Game 7 on a ridiculous bounce.

McDaniels could be a career arc comp for Fleming…long, skinny defensive wings with shooting upside and limited on ball skills when they came into the league(though McDaniels is developing). Fleming is a bit bigger and more capable of defending up…McDaniels one of the better screen navigators out there and better at swallowing up ball handlers.
I know this is going to sound crazy but I liken him more to Kawhi.

They have to get rid of KD this summer, right? He's ruined their team chemistry and locker room and shit all over their talented younger players. You bet on the young guys over the guy who'll be 38 next season any day. But who would take KD? I was thinking maybe Golden State or Miami. You want a team that is a bit desperate to get back into contention, and crazy enough to think that they can tame KD / "it'll be different this time." I doubt they get a king's ransom for KD, just a semi-okay player or two, some salary ballast, and maybe one pick.

Yep, I was happy to see the Celtics go down. Their fans were really crowing in our arena last time we played them and I was there. Ah, so sad, too bad. Maybe next year.

That does sound crazy…Fleming hasn’t shown any on ball skills yet and Kawhi is a great on ball scorer
