This team need a Kurt Thomas type of player - somebody who can defend in the post and can make open shots so you can;t totally ignore him.

Having a SG who is a pure shooter would help a lot too.

They should be taking a hard look at things and decide which players and picks they can use to accumulate more assets, because they aren't really that close to being a legitimate contender at this point.

Fucking right - I get blamed for it enough, might as well cop out & live up to it.

Now fuck off.
What does that even mean? If people are going to call me an ass I might as well be one? That's the opposite of true if one is not an ass.
Whatever - follow that little script, fence with semantics and keep playing dumb.

Did you see him run over and rub it in on Tucker and push him in the back?
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

This game showed every reason to be excited about Len and every reason he's still got a long way to go. He gets stuffed on dunks attempts quite often, but then you look at him and despite the weight gain from this summer, he's a beanpole next to guys like DJ. When he adds a little bit more upper body strength he's going to be a player.

That frustration foul on Chris Paul was pretty bad.

Bullshit we just failed to execute. It was both. Gerald got fouled when he was pushed out of bounds. That was a bullshit fucking foul on PJ tucker on Blake when that punk flopped when He was talking trash with PJ. They got lucky on that jump ball.

Yes- I can't stand him. Easily my least favorite player in the league. He's the definition of a fake tough guy. I really really hope someone knocks him out cold one of these games.

Not much luck. We lost it. They won it.
Bite my ass.

You're telling me that bounce was planned and all skill, right?
That was unnecessary.

I'm with you there. But we all would have loved if Tucker did the same to him.

Still, to quote doctor sauce, he can eat a bag of dicks.

Let's put it this way. If we execute on just one extra play in OT, we win the game. I don't mean score a hoop. I mean not give up an extra board or stop just one TO. Any of that in the last 43 seconds when we were up by 4 and we win.

Paul didn't push him out. He jumped sideways trying to get a call. He should have fallen down when Paul dove and we would have got the call. And yes griffen flopped with PJ started to butt heads, but that was stupid on PJs part.

Exactly. I feel a little strange getting excited to see him get stuffed, but those athletic plays he makes leads me to think if he bulks up, he is going to be a legit center. He had a good touch on his shot, and good instincts, and great speed for his side. And he seems to have a good motor, that isn't affected by whether or not anyone has passed him the ball in the last 10 trips down he floor.

Haha probably true. It wasn't just that moment though. It's the antics- flailing, flopping, taunting, pretending to be hurt, "pulling an Amare" (acting like you're ready to fight right when your teammate conveniently gets in front of you) etc.

Let's put it this way, I dislike him to the point that he's one of a few players all time that I would refuse to cheer for even on the Suns.

If you watch the replay, I don't see tucker headbutting. He just flat out flopped. We'll disagree here.

Head butting might not be the right word, but we definitely trying to rile him up. Griffen played him well when he did.

"It's better to be lucky than good." That adage was coined in 1947 and it's been traveling all this time so it could be used for the Blake Griffin shot.

I've endured some heartbreaking losses as a Suns fan but that shot makes me want to hate sports.

Griffin makes the luckiest shot of his career. Bah.

All things considered this road trip could have been 2-1 or even 3-0 but we lost two winnable games against top competition.

Every game can't help but think that we must add one decent PF/C. If there is not a move in that direction, and sooner rather than later, I am going to become a pissed fan.

I gotta disagree with you here home slice. If you look at the replay there is contact with Gerald Green as they are both going for the ball. The refs were too chickenshit to call a loose ball foul on choke Paul so they swallowed their whistles. Nonetheless, we should have executed better down the stretch, that Dragic airball was the dagger for us.
