Being reported as a done deal.

We get Bullock, Clips get Rivers, C's get Shavlik.

Another possibility is that there's a "canary trap" going on. Selectively leak different rumors to different people, see which ones get leaked, plug the holes.

That's an interesting take. Sounds like something Babby would talk Sarver et. al. into doing.

At least they got something for Shavlik. I would have been happy for a keg of PBR ...

I'd be POed if I were a Clipper fan. Thanks Doc.

Bullock doesn't make any sense for the roster, but getting ANYTHING for Shavlik Randolph is freaking incredible.

Bullock does give the Suns some size in the backcourt.

I would think the Suns have to be including some kind of draft consideration(s).

Not sure what is going on. This kind of fits what I've been saying about acquiring young assets, identify who you'd like to move forward with, ship the rest out for other assets, repeat the process.

However, it certainly seems like we'll be moving on from a certain bench shooter or two soon.

Possible Green replacement? Seems like he'd fit better next to Thomas.

Also, can we always trade with the Clips please? Bledsoe for nothing, Bullock for nothing, next year we get Griffin for the MoBros.

Just what I read in what v9 posted. It could be false. But something feels real about it.

I'm sure if they're getting indications from his agent that he's unhappy with the backcourt situation (ie, wants to play PG/run his own team) and/or wants the max, they'll shop him to try and get something back rather than lose him for nothing.

Don't trade Dragic, you fools. And pay him. If/when the 3 PG experiment ends, it better be because IT3 has been traded, not Goran, unless you are getting back what you just won't.

Why wouldn't you shop Goran? Its painfully obvious this is Bledsoe's team now, if you could get good value for a FA to be you think might leave, you do it.

Oh, and getting anything for Shavlik is crazy. It doesn't matter if Bullock doesn't have room at the moment, he is young and has catch and shoot ability. For Randolph? Absurd.

Because I'd pay him whatever it takes to keep him. Get rid of Thomas and you have the same space for Dragic and Bledsoe you saw last year. The Phoenix Suns can't afford to sell a homegrown talent that made an all NBA team for cents on the dollar.

Now, if he can net you a bonafide superstar, so be it.

Laz, Indy -- agree that there seems to be something more to this than just a canary trap.

I wonder if Tucker is also on the outs, despite what Traxxe mentioned. I read the scouting report on Reggie Bullock:

http://www.sbnation.com/nba/2013/6/4/43 ... draft-2013

And he seems very much in the Tucker/Dudley mold. Maybe they want him to back up Tucker and have a player like that on the floor for 48 minutes...

If he can be a 3-D guy, I'm all for it.

Hmm, this is a bit of a weird trade. I was thinking the other day that the Suns are really going for a blockbuster trade, but I didn't think anyone out there would be readily available. Then I saw a report on Carmelo and thought, "Oh no. He's probably totally available. And we have everything the Knicks want..." So I hope I'm wrong, but I could see us working out a trade for him.

I think I'm with the majority of this board; don't trade Goran. I think it would be a mistake in the long term.
