That's not happening.

If Cousins is traded, he'll bring in a huge haul. I doubt we have the assets to make it happen.

Len would most certainly be included in a deal for Cousins along with the LA 1st, Warren, our 1st, and probably more. His price would be astronmical, as well it should be.
But for discussions sake, Len would probably play the 4 with Cousins the 5 on offense.

That's an overpayment, IMO. Patience.

You can't trade the best C (imo) in NBA for less than an overpayment, just wouldn't be prudent. I'm not even sure I could call trading Len and a bunch of what ifs an overpayment really.

Cousins, Morrii and PJ on the same team. They wouldn't even make it through the shoot around without getting a T.

Yeah, that's a horrible mix of attitudes and personalities.

Exactly. I'm not advocating the trade, but that price is fair and probably still wouldn't get the deal done. Let's not overrate our prospects.

While acknowledging how immensely talented he is, I'm not really keen on the Suns acquiring Boogie. I just don't really want to root for that guy long term.

We have no shot of getting that Lakers pick. The starting lineup they trot out lately may be the worst I've ever seen. Kelly/Black/Sacre/Ellington/Clarkson is basically a flag with a giant tank on it.

Charles barkley on analytics: "Just some crap some people who were really smart made up to try to get in the game cause they had no talent"
"A bunch of guys who ain't never played the game and they never got the girls in HS and they just want to get in the game"
<me looking at mcdo and cap...>

If Charles Barkley wants to look down on someone for not having the talent to play in the NBA, he gets to do that. You don't.

He's right. Analytics has a place but it's not the end all, be all. I think it has much more of a place in baseball when it's the pitcher vs a hitter. A lot less variables to take into account in that instance.

Chuck was just butt hurt over what Morey said but his response was uninformed & insulting. And that is saying something considering all the dumb things Chuck has said over the years.

Stats still don't solve the 'how', or 'why'. They just tell you 'what' and 'when'.
Barkley's way to put it is not exactly classy, but he is not totally wrong.

You can't just dismiss stats and analytics in such a sweeping generalization like that. Chuck is wrong.

And also give you a decent prediction of near future.

Of course.
