All tied up after 3 quarters. I think LA's in the box seat here. The Spurs have had to use all their Spurs trickery to stay in it - not sure how long they can keep doing that for.*

*although it is the Spurs, so you just never know

Also, there is some chance Tim Duncan is not human. What he is doing at 39 is astonishing

You're just now figuring that out? It's common knowledge that he's a robot.

What a series. Road team is 3-2.

What a demoralising, heart-wrenching loss for the Clippers. You have to give credit to the Spurs for (yet again) somehow finding a way to win.

Wow. This series has been amazing. Spurs escape LA with a win, just barely. That was a REALLY gritty win; they willed themselves through that and got a little lucky with DeAndre goaltending that last tip-in, and with Blake missing some key FTs in the last minute.

If the Spurs win the series, the Clips will have plenty of examples of things they could have done better. It'll be a rough loss for them if that's where this ends up.

I got real joy out of the Spurs winning Game 5. One would have to think that they're favored to take it going home to San Antonio in Game 6. That place will be absolutely rockin'. And the pressure will never have been higher on the Clips. I think they may fold under the intense pressure and scrutiny. We'll see.

Not to get ahead of ourselves, but how do you folks think a Spurs-Rockets series would turn out? I tend to think that the Spurs would dispatch them more easily than the Clips. Rockets are a very talented team overall, but I feel like the Spurs would be smart enough to smother Harden and not let Howard pick-and-roll them to death.

I feel the same way, but more so that the Spurs win. I can't find anyone on the Clips to like, and although I don't like anyone on the Spurs, they are a really great team to watch.

And yes, Tim Duncan is 39 and still amazing. He isn't 29 year old Duncan, but he is amazingly effective. As a fellow 39 year old, I am amazed.

I am amazed how often I worked in "amaz" in that.

I would take the Spurs in 6, but an easier six games than what is happening now (if the Spurs pull off the win in the next game).

Leonard would be on Harden like a glove.

I'm loving the crying by the Clippers about the refs. Chris Paul just loves pushing the refs to the brink with his bitching then acting shocked when he gets T'd up. It is like that T against the Cavs when he made the comments about the female ref. He was mad that she made him give her the ball before he could throw it in even though that is the rule after a dead ball.

Then last night he could have just thrown the ball in but no he threw it to the ref on purpose. No one does that after the other team makes a basket. He was fucking with the ref and the ref knew it.

I really do love watching them lose. I just can't stand CP3 and Blake. All that flopping and whining.

He sure should have secured that last rebound.

I'm with you although the Clippers did get the short end of the reffing stick last night. But I'm not complaining.
