If you combine their WARP, the Suns could have nearly a 9 WARP with the new additions.
She cannae take any more, Captain!

Maybe the Suns should get an F- until they prove they can win with these additions.
Or maybe even a G if they don't win 25 games or more.
Or maybe even a PG if they want to win 25 games or more.

Nah, 25 wins should be no problem. The Rockets won 65 last season and we have 40% of their starting lineup, so that’s 26 wins right there.

I enjoyed this article from Yahoo Sports about the most fun-to-watch bad teams of the 2018-19 season. They put our Suns at #1. I disagree with some of his rankings (Nets at #3?!) but it's a fun read overall.

The Mavericks will probably be my 2nd most watched team this season to keep tabs on Doncic and his progress.

Have been on and off for a long time. First because of Patricia Bender’s mailing list, then because of the Nash-Finley-Ceballos-Green-Hot Rod thing, and now because they have Igor’s boy Luka.

I have no idea who Patricia Bender is nor do I know anything about her mailing list. Please elaborate.

There's a reason they're available. Both are old and coming off of injuries. I'll be surprised if either of them plays 65 games this year.

I would happily take 65 games of Beverley. He injury is not uncommon, and should have a full recovery. He just turned 30, and has hit over 39% of his 3s the last 3 years, taking 4.4 a game. And he doesn't turn the ball over, and obviously plays great defense.

Would definitely take either but I think I like Teodosic more as a passer and because he brings something a little different in terms of skills and size.

That would be par for the course for McD. Am I right?

McDo would get them both, promise both of them the starting job, and then also trade for Kemba Walker on October 1.

Honestly one of my favorite Suns players ever when he was at the top of his game. Really underrated player in terms of skillset and IQ.

Best to skip ahead to like 40 seconds as the first bit is really blurry.

This posting sequence was like watching a fastbreak alley-oop

Shel C gets the rebound, pass it to SDC, who throws a full court outlet pass right to Superbone, there goes the alley... and Marty slammed home!!!

I don't think Teodosic makes sense here. You can't have a starting lineup that includes Milos, Booker and Anderson. They would get feasted on defensively. I also think he's not a starting caliber PG in the NBA. I'd rather just run with Shaq.

Beverly, on the other hand, makes a ton of sense from a contract and skill-set perspective.

It says a lot about a player when they only play for your team for 1-2 years and yet you still vividly and fondly remember them. That is 2005-06 Boris Diaw. It's also 2004-05 Quentin Richardson, for example. Who are some other short-tenured memorable Suns?

Some people were speculating that Beverly was going to be released by the Clippers, but West was quoted in an interview that Beverly was safe. Not sure what exactly to expect. I would like Beverly on this team, but don't want McD to overpay, if West is just trying to inflate his value.
