It says a lot about a player when they only play for your team for 1-2 years and yet you still vividly and fondly remember them. That is 2005-06 Boris Diaw. It's also 2004-05 Quentin Richardson, for example. Who are some other short-tenured memorable Suns?
Surprised nobody mentioned Gail Goodrich.
He averaged about 22 ppg and 7 assists pg.
Was a third guard with the Lakers before he came to the Suns.
Went back to the Lakers and eventually started in the backcourt with Jerry West on a team that won the NBA title.
Same team that won 33 games in a row.

Surprised? He was before even my time.
Me too. I only remember seeing him with the Lakers and Jazz.

Here is Nash's HoF speech. I enjoyed watching him so much. A really special player. I liked his speech; he hit a lot of good "memory lane" points. (Strangely, he thanked Amare Stoudemire and Grant Hill but not Shawn Marion. Oops.) Here's the whole speech:

Sucks about him not mentioning Shawn, especially since Shawn supposedly always felt slighted and underappreciated on those Suns teams.
But Nash is really the only Sun going in, right? I don't think any of those guys would describe themselves as Suns first. Maybe Welts, but not sure.
You don't go in with a team affiliation.
I know, but the league and fans when they picture those guys don't see them in Suns uniforms, besides Steve.
That wasn't the point. All four of the players played significant minutes for the Suns. However, if you want to talk about most likely team affiliations, I'd say:
Scott: Probably Suns. He played his most games there by a 25% margin over any other team.
Kidd: Mavs or Nets. Toss up in games played. Probably Mavs since he was drafted there and won a championship there.
Hill: Pistons I guess. Detroit (6 seasons, 435 games), Orlando (6 seasons, 200 games), Phoenix (5 seasons, 362 games).
Nash: Suns.

Orlando (6 seasons, 200 games)
Ouch. That has to be such an awful time for him and Orlando fans.

Yup, and then played nearly twice as many games for us in only 5 seasons. Speaking of which, the Suns training staff mafia got a shout out from both Hill and Nash.

They should. Shaq was even healthy when here.

Thibs should trade Wiggins for Noah and whatever else to make the salaries work (maybe Hardaway). He's the missing piece for the Wolves. Maybe they can also get Boozer involved in their broadcasts.
