Well my 40/20/15 prediction didn't pan out except CP3, but nontheless I was right to anticipate that our guys will try to show up for KD. Can't wait for his debut game.

Okay, hot take after watching the past few games: As much as I really miss Mikal, I think his production is actually pretty replaceable. You look at guys like Okogie and Craig and other wings and they can basically produce similar numbers, plus it gives a few more shots for guys like Ayton and CP3 and Book. I think as long as we have other good wing defenders, we can totally survive losing Mikal. I am super sad he's gone, and obviously I wish he were still here. But I think he is more replaceable than, say, Ayton is, or most of our other core guys. I think giving up Mikal to get this shot at KD will be worth it ultimately.

Great game by DA. So engaged on both sides of the ball.

Weird that there were so few TJ minutes. I get wanting to acclimate him, but it's not like Torrey, Ish and D-Lee were tearing it up. TJ looked fine in his minutes.

He's more replaceable than this Ayton. But this Ayton is not a sure thing every game.
What we'll miss the moat about Mikal is that you could count on him defending thw best opposing player and producing some offense. In a good night, Okogie can do it. Considering we'll have Durant, what Okogie brings to the table is enough, but if we had Mikal instead of him (I know it would not be possible) I think we are champions for sure.

Yeah, way under FF’s over/under. And no burn for Bazley.

Monty talked a bit in the postgame about TJ needing more reps in the spot they're planning to use him defensively. I had forgotten how trust on the defensive side is the first hurdle most guys need to overcome in order to get minutes under Monty.

I was thinking about it yesterday and if we had been able to keep Mikal I think we essentially have the perfect team(starting 5 at least). Even still we have a pretty great team and if Okogie is hitting his 3s and Ayton plays with force and aggression I think we’re unbeatable. KD is the easiest player to incorporate into a lineup, maybe in history. Just imagine replacing Craig with him…Please just give us a healthy rest of the season haha
