Now Trump is going after the Georgia prosecutor accusing her of sleeping with gang members. So classy of him.

“They say there’s a young woman — a young racist in Atlanta — they say she was after a certain gang and she ended up having an affair with the head of the gang or a gang member. And this is a person who wants to indict me […] wants to indict me for a perfect phone call,” Trump told supporters.

Wow. So when the campaign ad says, “got caught hiding a relationship with a gang member she was prosecuting”—they really mean a past “mother-son” (Mondo’s words) attorney/client relationship with a co-founder (of the music label that’s being accused of being associated with a gang using the same acronym) who is not being prosecuted.

What happened to “truth in advertising” laws? Political ads can just lie as much as they want?

And then of course Trump takes that and tries to embellish it even further, saying that she had a sexual affair with a gang member after prosecuting them!

EDIT: It turns out that Mondo was charged with gang-related charges just last week, but that was in a separate county in GA and had nothing to do with Willis (or the original conspiracy case as far as I can tell).

A lawyer allied with President Donald J. Trump first laid out a plot to use false slates of electors to subvert the 2020 election in a previously unknown internal campaign memo that prosecutors are portraying as a crucial link in how the Trump team’s efforts evolved into a criminal conspiracy.

The existence of the Dec. 6, 2020, memo came to light in last week’s indictment of Mr. Trump, though its details remained unclear. But a copy obtained by The New York Times shows for the first time that the lawyer, Kenneth Chesebro, acknowledged from the start that he was proposing “a bold, controversial strategy” that the Supreme Court “likely” would reject in the end.

But even if the plan did not ultimately pass legal muster at the highest level, Mr. Chesebro argued that it would achieve two goals. It would focus attention on claims of voter fraud and “buy the Trump campaign more time to win litigation that would deprive Biden of electoral votes and/or add to Trump’s column.”

I just don't think Trump will be able to stop himself from shouting about the various folks involved in the cases against him. I think he's going to violate a protective order and may need to be remanded into custody.

Trump- Anyone that has anything to do with any of my criminal trials (Judges, prosecutors, witnesses etc.) should be barred from having anything to do with my criminal trials because they are all bad people and I am innocent. Blah, blah, blah. None of that stuff has anything to do with US law and won’t mean anything in court. It’s all for show for his base. His base will believe every word he says and will want to do their patriotic duty by killing judges, prosecutors and witnesses.
