Vuc is better than Horford who they never replaced, but a similar style. I think he should fit in seamlessly. I’m very curious to see what happens with Tatum

Similar style on offense and better rebounder but nowhere near the defender that Horford was.

I think the idea is to sell off Randle and Reid for picks and to add that to Jaden McDaniels and some other stuff. Would be very strange team to have no shooting monsters in Gobert and Giannis rebounding Ant’s three point bombs.

Wonder how the Clips respond to the trade. They were playing well when this seemingly came out of left field. Garland's a good young talent, gives them some young legs which are needed.

True, though I think Horford dropped off a bit as a defender towards the end

He did this year for sure. Last year he was very solid against switches still. Tho I didn’t watch too many Celtics games to know the progression.

He's like 40, nothing lasts forever.

Really don’t think this will happen and I really don’t want to do anything(outside of a Richards move) at the deadline, but the timeline guys brought up getting into a Giannis to Minny deal and taking Randle for Jalen Green.

Hard not to at least consider that. Randle actually fits what we are doing and with Book/Allen/Gillespie, we probably have the guards. I’d probably not do it because I just want to enjoy this, but it’s interesting.

I’d definitely swap Green for Randle.

Everyone would’ve liked to see how Green fit, but that hasn’t happened and IIRC the Suns weren’t committed to keeping him after the KD trade anyway. I’ve become much higher on Randle since he stopped smoking weed and it’s clearly a smart positional swap for this roster.
