They have to get rid of KD this summer, right? He's ruined their team chemistry and locker room and shit all over their talented younger players. You bet on the young guys over the guy who'll be 38 next season any day. But who would take KD? I was thinking maybe Golden State or Miami. You want a team that is a bit desperate to get back into contention, and crazy enough to think that they can tame KD / "it'll be different this time." I doubt they get a king's ransom for KD, just a semi-okay player or two, some salary ballast, and maybe one pick.
I'm thinking Denver might be a prime spot for him

I would love for KD to get traded to the warriors. His own personal hell of his own making being in Steph’s shadow again. All success attributed to Steph. All failures will be blamed on KD. It’ll be fantastic.

Might be the only team that would take him at this point

And maybe DA would end there with them.

Jimmy + picks for KD and DFS works.
Jimmy great fit for Houston and 57 million expiring contracts
DFS washed with a disgusting contract. Houston would love to get rid of it lol

Jamaal Mosley out in Orlando. Deserved? They were hugely disappointing this year, but they did miss a lot of players due to injuries.

Weird stuff happened in Orlando and it clearly seemed he lost at least some of the locker room. They made a valiant effort to knock off detroit, but ultimately fell short…think we saw this one coming.

The Mosley firing surprises me. He took them this close to knocking off the #1 seed in the East. But I haven't been following them closely to know what the locker room is like or his relationship with the players. But they did have an utter collapse after their big first half of Game 6.

I think he was on the hot seat before the playoffs although I'm not sure of the exact reason. He obviously bought some time with their initial success in the first round but after their epic meltdown in a game where they were on the brink of knocking off the #1 seed not only contributed but was likely the last straw.

I think everyone assumed Mohsley was a goner. The Magic played over their heads offensively early in the series and then came back to earth. The offensive potential is there for sure. Don't know what's going on with Banchero. I still like Thibs there if he can bring the focus and discipline to that lockerroom.

Why the Houston Rockets' season ended with a thud
Between crushing injuries, a burner phone scandal and inconsistency from their core, the Rockets end another season in disappointment.

Durant was predictably brilliant on the court throughout the 2025-26 season, averaging 26.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists while playing in 78 games, but team sources said his "moodiness" took some getting used to and wore on the team's young players throughout the campaign, a dynamic that was exacerbated without VanVleet and Adams as buffers.
That dynamic grew increasingly complex as the season dragged on, beginning with a burner account scandal and culminating in a first-round series loss to an undermanned Los Angeles Lakers team, which started Marcus Smart, Luke Kennard, Rui Hachimura and Deandre Ayton alongside 41-year-old LeBron James while building a 3-0 lead.
Durant, suffering from knee and ankle injuries, was barely able to contribute, leaving the young core to try to seize the opportunity of facing a Lakers team with two of their stars out with injuries.
The Rockets faltered from the start.
