Doc Rivers is a better Suns GM than Lance Blanks ever was.

We'll have to form an emergency support group.Shabazz wrote:We just traded Shav for Bullock.

Calm down, it's a real GM "insider", we all know how reliable they are with their "leaked" info.INFORMER wrote:They're shopping Goran?!
Sorry v9, I'm gonna have to disagree with you. An ideal starting power forward to me averages double figures in rebounds every night and has go to moves down low with his back to the basket..Markieff only has 1 of those 2 features.virtual9mm wrote:Regarding the Morri, Markieff is an excellent starting PF and is perhaps an excellent complement to Len
That is true. I wouldn't have blinked if they cut him after getting Wright.INFORMER wrote:I'd be POed if I were a Clipper fan. Thanks Doc.
Bullock doesn't make any sense for the roster, but getting ANYTHING for Shavlik Randolph is freaking incredible.
I agree. He's just churning the bottom roster for better assets. So far Bullock and Wright have been good roster pieces to add for Shav and 2nd round picks from Minnesota.Mori Chu wrote:I don't think this small trade implies any other larger moves to come. I think McDo just likes collecting assets. He's just taking advantage of teams needing to dump interesting prospects, a little like what we did with Brandan Wright. At some point, McDo may package 3-4 assets to grab something exciting like a superstar, but I think it's more in the Morey mold of just grabbing as much interesting talent as he can.
I agree he isn't ideal, or excellent as a starting PF. But I would say he is in the top 10-15 if you look across the league. He isn't in the list of PFs you build around, but I think he is a great compliment (especially if you have a strong rebounding team already).iLLmatic wrote:Sorry v9, I'm gonna have to disagree with you. Well, it helps that Blanks set the bar subterranean low ...TheOriginalOriginal wrote:Doc Rivers is a better Suns GM than Lance Blanks ever was.
