According to the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson, they'd like to make a run at Sacramento's Omri Casspi and Ben McLemore, Denver's Randy Foye, Phoenix's Mirza Teletovic, Milwaukee's Jerryd Bayless and Brooklyn's Wayne Ellington.
Mirza for Miami?
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

Doesn't make any sense as far as assets. Unless you really like Stokes and a couple of expirings. I doubt you want McBob or the rest of his contract.
Go Suns!

Prospect. Whatever prospect. You extract that from Miami and you have turned nothing into something. Miami needs 3pt badly.

Edit: hohoho can you imagine Riley going all in now and giving up Winslow? Not for just Teletovic, of course. Deng is expiring and has cache. A third team could need a jack of all trades SF with experience. The also have McBob's contract (yeah, that's a thing now) to throw in. Taking trash for youth/draft stock has to be implemented to a moderate extect. Look into taking the likes of Meeks, Singler, stuff like that and charge a fee.

Which I am already on board saying I'm fine with. Really, though Kieff has been an asshole, my problem is more with the organization for not doing anything about it. Any discipline has been paltry and if it was intended to discourage certain behaviors it obviously didn't work. I don't want to set the organization back a ways in talent and compound the problem x 2 just to clear the slate. I know it's not a popular opinion but it is how I feel.
I fully support that part of your opinion. I, too, am more pissed at how stupid our Org has been, and less about Keef. Keef is just being him, and it isn't new. We should have known that. And this is coming from a guy that was happy with the 8M/year for him (not for Marcus, though).

But I am also of the opinion that you take action when you realize you effed up. You don't sit back and wait for your mistake to fix itself (they rarely do).

I keep coming here hoping to see a new trade thread. The deadline is tomorrow, correct? 9 pm PST?
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

Sweet. So you can be the designated guy that sends a group text to us when anything affecting the Suns happens. Glad you volunteered, TOO.

I really hope we do *something*, and that it is a future-looking move rather than a move to improve the rest of this current season or to build around the Bledsoe-Knight-Tucker-Chandler core.

They plan on waiving Lance. I believe he's a FA after this year. they get out from under Frye's contract.
Exactly. Also Frye is expendable now that they have Ilyasova and wanted to open things up for Gordon anyway. Orlando has a lot of youth, even if most of it doesn't fit together very well right now. I can see them moving one of their guards this off season. Or, would you trade Vucevic for Whiteside? Or consider moving Vucevic an asset and chase Whiteside in the summer?

I'm totally on board with this strategy. I'd love to be on the other end of the Kurt Thomas move at least once.

If indeed Knight is being made available and Booker is the only untouchable, then it would seem the front office has already moved on from that core.

my prediction. 3 team trade.. with some version of these parts.
Kieff+Mirza, Ben McLemore and Rudy Gay+ Miami sending out Hassan.
and somehow the suns end up with Michael Beasley again...............

I would offer Brandon Knight to Utah for Dante Exum and Trevor Booker. And yes, I know Exum is injured.

You'll not see a KT move for quite a while. Cap space just isn't as important as it once was. It may be some time in the future once owners go nuts with the new cap increase.
Go Suns!

I'd do that trade in a heartbeat. But I can't see Utah pulling it... Exum was a pretty big part of their defensive surge post-all star break last year, wasn't he?

He's playing in China. So that would be odd.

You'll have to forgive this Suns fan's day dream once in a while.
