What a stupid win. I'll never root for guys to personally tank but not playing Alan Williams and Jenkins and the Gorilla down the stretch was dumb af.

This is because of the Jay Wright stuff in the news today. This was the players winning for EW.
BTW, I am sure that all the scuttlebutt came for JW's camp. I bet the Suns just called to gauge interest.

Has there ever been more fitting initials for a coach? EW. Just the thought of him returning is ewwwww.JCSunsfan wrote:This is because of the Jay Wright stuff in the news today. This was the players winning for EW.

How bad are the rockets to be fighting for a playoff spot and lose to us.....at home?
And I highly doubt Archie Goodwin who had been glued to the bench before a few gms ago was playing for the coach that put him there, Earl Watson.

“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

We will end up having the highest statistical chance at the #5 pick if we slide all the way into 4th. I don't see the Nets Winning another game but I can see us winning at least one more. I'm starting to lose faith that the Suns will ever figure it out.
We desperately want to become a treadmill team.

No, we're bottoming out and it should make us rebuild, but instead we keep going for the first quick fix. Winning a couple extra games at the end of the year riding vets hard is just dumb. We yearn to squeak into the playoffs and get swept l.Indy wrote:Want to? Haven't we been there for the better part of a decade?dragickingdom wrote: We desperately want to become a treadmill team.

Are you drunk? What does the playoffs have in any way to do with this win. There was nothing "quick fix" about this win. It was just vet pride. We won this game because Chandler, Mirza, Archie, and PJ decided to ball. Houston showed up expecting the Suns to just give it to them. Pride just kicked in and the Suns vets said "screw you! If you want a win, earn it."dragickingdom wrote:No, we're bottoming out and it should make us rebuild, but instead we keep going for the first quick fix. You can't tank when your players just refuse to be treated that way.

No, unfortunately I'm not drunk. My comments are directed more at management and our desire for a quick fix or instant gratification .

I agree with your comments. You were saying that because of games like this, we will once again be close but no cigar. Right? Just this time close on the other side.

It is far from the end of the world but it kinda sucks.
Look on the bright side. Bender could be a complete bust riding on Porzingis' coattails. This way we won't have any pressure to take a gamble on him.

Just wondering how this win is a quick fix to any thing in any way? Do not know how it brings instant gratification to mgmt either--like 21 wins makes them looks better than 20? You are ascribing motives to mgmt that do not make sense. Does anyone in their right mind believe that McD, the draft dude that he is, wants anything less than the first pick? There is nothing for him to gain to get another win now.dragickingdom wrote:No, unfortunately I'm not drunk. The players were the ones who decided they wanted to win this. There is no other explanation. Oh, and there is no way on God's green earth that the Houston Rockets should have lost to that roster we trotted out there tonight. The Rockets and their fans should hang their heads in absolute shame. They lost to a worse roster, with huge injures, and a team that WANTS to lose.

The Rockets are the ones that should be ashamed. Not us.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I put the blame more on EW and management for not shutting down vets like Chandler. If we are going to win games, it should be with playing youth so they can learn in real games and have the luxury of making mistakes. The vets don't decide how many minutes , the coach does. The coach does not shut older players down, that's on management.
I'm hoping you see the point I'm trying to make.

The Celtics have to be with thrilled by all this. How pissed will you be if the Celtics win the lottery with the balls slated for the 3rd worst record and we fall to 5th or 6th pick in the draft.
I'm bringing this up because the exact thing happened in 2013, the Cavs ended up passing us and we had the 4th worst record and they had the 3rd. They won the lottery (wasted the pick, but that is besides the point) and we dropped from 4th to 5th pick.
