Of course. Looks like we haven't learned our lesson yet.
Sarver wants that cool mil or whatever profit from hosting a playoff series. He is the poster boy for the phrase "penny wise pound foolish." It'll take a huge stroke of luck to build a contender under his regime.

Saw that also. Figured they would ask Chriss before him seeming how Jones has played all of 6 NBA mins.

Come on. Most Suns fans couldn't even pick Jones out of a lineup. If he is in the dunk contest, nobody will know who the heck he is. Pretty ridiculous. Once upon a time the dunk contest actually had recognizable NBA players in it. How far it has fallen.

Could Barbosa be on the way out? I don't see how it can make sense to have both of them.
Barbosa to the Cavs for a second rounder? That could really make sense.

Until he wins it.

This. What an easy way to gain popularity. I mean its not a sure fire way, IE Jeremy Evans, but look at how many people were pining for Aaron Gordon after his showing.

Barbosa playing tonight, apparently refuting that theory.

Take it easy guys. I'm pretty sure we are picking up Ronnie Price to groom him for Watson's spot on the bench next year.

My hope is Price was brought in now so when we offload a few vets(Tucker and Knight) we've already got one in place that has developed a rapport with some of the younger players. I don't expect him to get many minutes and he may not play at all. However, we know how much Watson loves Tucker and Price is essentially the PG version of Tucker, so we'll see.

Let's just hope... The Price is Right! HHHHHHAAAAAAAAAA HHAAAAAAAAAA!!1!1!!

Alternatively, replace the insane laughter with Bone putting on his sunglasses and hearing the CSI Miami (The Who) music blaring.

Price signing. Suns are under the cap floor. They are going to have to spend the money anyway. If they hired Price as a coach they would have to pay him real money. This way they get an extra coach for money they would have to spend anyway.

Come on. If you can play a 34 year old center 40 minutes a night in a misguided effort to stay in the playoff picture while alienating and marginalizing your young center, you pretty much have to do it.

If we don't trade Chandler before the deadline and this keeps happening we are going to have a really unhappy player come contract time. Chandler has definitely stunted Lens growth. Len has issues and he can look goofy as fuck at times but he a very good rebounder and pretty solid defensively. He still hasn't learned how to just relax and play within his abilities. He always seems to be rushing things. I still believe it is just a matter of time until he figures that out. He is still improving. He can actually use his left hand this year which never happened last year. He is never going to be a star but he will be an easy double double at the center position with solid defense.

Watson needs to stop jerking him around.

Standard BS negotiating tactic: Drive down the player's value, then try to get a low-ball contract out of them. Len will probably start next year if he signs. They just want him at a discount. It might work but I hope it doesn't backfire. I really think we should keep Len and sign him to a long-term deal. He shows a lot of promise and I see enough growth and development that I think he's worth keeping.

I'm very open to move Len. I'm ok with re-signing him if the price is in the 10-12M per range, but At the risk of looking at a RoLo part II, I'll say there is always time to pony up for 'not special'.

Teletovic and Leuer got 10M, Mozgov got 15M. I think 15-18M is what we're looking at and I'd pass at that point.

Who needs rebounding or defense. Lets save 3-8 mill and get a guy who can't even get 10 boards and plays zero defense. That will surely help us in the long run.

I guess I'm in the minority. Apparently Len is at the same skill level as Tele, Leuer and Mozgov. Defense and rebounding really is overrated. :)

Len is better, that's why I think he'll get more money. I just don't see him being worth that much. Will he be worth that much in a few years? Maybe, but I'd rather save that money for someone i know is worth it.

For the record, I would not have payed leuer, teletovic, or mozgov the money they received last year either.
