Bingo! That's a big weight off. I'd still prefer more ping pong balls but I'll take a tie.

Suns (24-57) remaining games:
@ Kings (Tuesday)

Lakers (25-55) remaining games:
vs Pelicans (Tuesday)
@ Warriors (Wednesday)

If Lakers win 1 more, they will have the better record no matter what. If we lose to the Kings, we will have the worse record. We control our own fate. However, the Suns aren't going to lay down. Let's hope the Kings have some pride in their home finale.

Time to start our Ulis-booker-jones-Bender-Chriss lineup on Tuesday.

This season ending by two teams locked on a suposed 2-3 lottery spot battle, reminds me of that sequence a few Superbowls ago, when both teams managed to kept turnover the ball, even the announcer said something like "Dear God, nobody wants the ball today!!!"

Towns and Wiggins combined for 81 pts on 30/48 shooting and they lost? Crazy. 21 boards as well for towns

Sac has the 13th position on the line Tue.

it's a question of balls
less on Tue = more next month

for suns, more balls might = Ball?
more balls for sac might be stretching them thin, however (-;

Well, we secured that 2nd position. So that's good.

It scares me to see it is nearly just as likely for us to pick 4/5 than 1/2/3.

The cynical Suns fan in me says that our odds are just poor enough that we'll end up getting screwed and not getting a top-2 pick, which is what we really need. I am really not sold on Jackson from Kansas and I don't think he would do much to help us get better next year.

I unfortunately tend to agree with you here. If the Suns had a 75% chance at landing the 1st pick, I would expect them to buck the odds and draft 4th, which makes me sad.

I think Bledsoe is our best player, but I don't think he has the highest ceiling nor do I think he will take the Suns to much better than a low playoff team. I believe that in this draft, we need to get one of the top pgs and sell high on Bledsoe. I like the future of Warren and even Jones Jr., especially if they can improve their range, strength and maturity(the last two specifically for Jones). I don't know if Jackson makes the Suns much better and might put in jeopardy the growth of both Warren and Jones without a pass first pg and offense that pushes the ball and is predicated on ball and player movement.

No wonder we end up 4th more times than not when doing the simulator. Because that's the highest odds of where we end up (for an individual spot). I hate this lottery system!

I'm just going to plan on 4th so I'm not utterly disappointed when it happens. And then I'll slit my wrist when we get 5th! :x
