This kinda sucks. Was looking forward to seeing Dario matchup with Jokic. We'll need DA to be on his game and should see some Frank.

Oh man
Dario is a big bummer but understandable as he came back early and was supposed to originally play his first game tonight or against LAC

This team could really use one more true "big" that's actually able to play at or near an NBA level, especially if Saric is going to be in and out on a night-to-night basis. I wouldn't be comfortable relying on Smith yet, and I'm pretty sure, despite the tiny sample size, that Jones isn't it. Frank is fine as an end-of-the-bench cheerleader, but giving him real playing time hasn't usually gone well.

I think Taj Gibson is still out there available, but he might well be waiting to see if a contender wants to pick him up midseason. If he'd agree to it, though, I think he'd be okay as a defensive / rebounding stopgap from time to time.

This is what’s known as a “scheduled loss.” Would be a great win if we could pull it off.

That is basically how I am viewing it. Unless it is a blowout, I won't be too surprised/upset if this is an L.

Yup, too many guards and not enough bigs. We should definitely swap a big for a guard on the roster.

I would rather go ultra small than put Jones out there. I don’t even know why we have him on the roster.

Yeah, we can just put Cam Payne on opponents' bigs. Right, BG?

Nuggs without Jerami Grant these days (who's tearing it up in Detroit on 23 and 6 for the season, up from 12 and 3.5 the season before) so that's in our favour.
I thought the acquisition was one of the worse of the offseason, but so far, he has lived up to the contract. It's early though.

The numbers for Grant look good. But I had heard that he was getting those numbers by ballhogging and chucking. Can anybody confirm or refute? I read that he was messing up the offensive flow in Detroit and causing them not to play well.

Any word on what’s going on with Smith’s ankle? Is there a timetable for him to come back?

This seems unrealistic.
Saucey’s prediction of 12 and 10 seems solid right now

We saw Bubble Murray over the summer, but he was Murray against the Suns first...he just figured out how to translate that to everyone in the bubble...that guy is back again tonight.

It's the sort of thing he'll get used to I'm sure, i don't think it's a fatal flaw ..
