It’s like Voldemort…. We don’t speak that name. Nor do we need that ass clown on our team… Even if we won the championship, it would leave a real sour taste in my mouth.

I know. He’s my most hated player in the last 15 years or so. But the original question was possible FAs not in the list so I thought I’d throw that in there. Can’t imagine rooting for him ever.

In the early days of this site I set filters so that if you typed out the names of certain players, such as Luc Longley, Hedo Turkoglu, or Michael Beasley, it would star them out as "profanity." I eventually turned that off, but I would have added Beverley to that list of shame if I still had it.

We’re talking about level of irritation towards a player, not skill set…

We’re talking about level of irritation towards a player, not skill set…

Why be irritated with a player who’s about to help bring you a championship?

I like Ish, but he was all but unplayable in most of the playoffs. We need better guys than him to fill out our roster.

Ish just isn't quite good enough. He's big and strong but doesn't really seem to use his size or strength much. He's touted as a 3-and-D forward, but I don't really remember him shutting anybody down defensively, and his 3s are hit and miss. And he doesn't seem to be quite "tough" or "mean" enough, like a PJ Tucker or Jae Crowder. So he doesn't really fill an "enforcer" or "emotional heart of the team" role.

I bet this is just Mat not caring about money again. In other words, they're keeping him just in case they need him, and will still waive him if they can get someone better on the roster. We have to readjust our thinking with an owner like this.

I saw a tweet pointing out that we could technically trade Ish now if we wanted to. That'd be doing him dirty, but still, we could do it if we really needed to do it to make a trade work.

We probably need his salary for trade purposes also because there's literally NO ONE ELSE we can trade besides our new rookie.

I don’t know that it would be doing him dirty…it guaranteed him nearly 2 million dollars. I’m not sure he was gonna get that otherwise.
