The team is definitely looking better and better and have to credit that to Ott and his staff given what they have to work with.

Grayson's been awesome to start the season.

He's pretty good when he's not plus sized.

Yeah, Grayson has been awesome. I still think some "point Grayson" is a helpful strategy for us to use, not all game but some of the time to take pressure off Book. I also hope that Green entering the lineup doesn't mess up Grayson's flow; only one ball to go around and all that. I think it'll turn Allen into more of a spot-up shooter, but that's okay, because he's great at that.
I didn't listen to the actual podcast clip regarding Jalen but it was something I was paying attention to
He did make a couple telegraphed passes and going into the Playoffs as the leading scorer and best driving option for Rockets, Warriors really blitzed him and he struggled
So that's going to be the area of growth we might need to pay attention to. We saw Book had to learn how to handle it but Jalen is young and surely talented.
I had a little concern about the "theres only 1 ball theory" also but after seeing Ott's system I think touches for everyone will be fine.
We all probably just have some PTSD from last couple seasons. Seriously tho, I can't remember one post so far this season about Iso ball, player X just standing in the corner, playing too slow......

Gillespie has been everything we could hope for so far.

Gillespie has been progressing nicely... He's the TJ McConnell we've been wanting.

I mean... TJ was a pretty decent defender when he was younger. Not quite seeing that out of Collin but I like how under control he is as a PG. Idk if he will ever be starter material but who knows? I didn't know Nash would become a two-time MVP when we dealt him to Dallas for the pick that became Marion.

The PG rotation of Booker and Gillespie has been stellar. This team competes with amost when the 3s are falling.

Vally suns get spanked inter first game. Brea got a decent number of points but 3/11 from 3 and a horrible +- Huntleys stats look decent with a double double and a 3 blocks. Not sure if they play him at c or pf.
How soon would you want Fleming and maluach down there for some run? I really don’t want them wasting the rest of 2025 on the bench would they could be getting Some reps in the g league.

Thanks for the low down... I'd say the sooner the young'uns get into the g-league, the better. Weren't they saying Maluach needed to work on conditioning post draft? I'd think there's no better place for him then the g-league.
