Thunder loses three in a row to the Spurs. Did anyone watch? Was this a whistles issue or matchup problem? Mind boggling.

I watched a good chunk of it. It’s not even a Wemby thing. Spurs just seem to have their number. They defend SGA really well…he seems very average against them.

So … refs swallowed their whistles and allowed the Spurs to defend him?

Ayton with 2 rebounds today in the Lakers loss. You hate to see it.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

You see JJ's quotes after the game about certain players not even knowing the basic plan for the game? I wonder who that could be about.
Go Suns!

Maybe JJ gets the team to respond but I think the Lakers are likely to slide in the standings. Felt like their record's been padded and with James seemingly checked out and the Lakers in a sort of transition around Luka, I think they staring falling apart soon.

But how does this make you feel?

Id say LA fans are delusional, but every few years they seem to land a star for their shit buckets.

Jalen Smith should be a trade target. A true 4 and can play back up C in spots too.

Bulls: Royce, Richards, 2nd round pick

Suns: Jalen Smith, Dalen Terry.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Stix but he’s not a 4 and he’s not worth Royce given the current makeup of the team. I wonder if we could somehow wrangle Vanderbilt from the Lakers. I really wanted Yabusele last year but I’m kind of over that this year too.

Trading O'Neale for players who are worse is definitely a strategy I can't get behind.

Royce is one of the worst defenders in the league. If his 3 ball is not on he kills us out there

Royce is super hot-and-cold; if his shooting is on, he's an awesome weapon. If he's cold, he feels like a big net negative. But even when he is having an off night shooting-wise, he still draws defenders because you have to respect his 3-point shot. I wish we could upgrade the 4 spot, but I'd be nervous swapping out Royce for anybody who isn't a great 3-point shooter. I wouldn't want to bring in a bigger bruising PF who wants to play inside because I think that would hurt our spacing. Stix is an interesting choice, but I don't think I would give up all three of Royce, Richards, and a 2nd round pick for him.

Giving up Richards is literally nothing. It's Royce and a 2nd. That's a no-brainer for me. I don't think he has much value to us or anyone else. As soon as we're healthy, he's going to get minimal playing time

He is a complete traffic cone on the defensive end and the league knows it
